An Ol’ Broad’s Ramblings
We have returned!
What was going to be one night in the booming gambling town of Tunica, MS turned into a two nighter. Not because we were winning, or anything like that, but just because. It was a fairly uneventful trip, although we were rather impressed with the Horseshoe. The food was excellent! It ain’t Vegas, but it’s close to home. I wouldn’t mind going back to see Hootie & the Blowfish, but the Mr says I have to be in Wisconsin at that time. 
Well, we went back to the room after breakfast to get our stuff, check out and head home. Imagine my surprise when I walked in the room and saw Texas Fred on the news! I only caught a few seconds, but that was enough for me to realize …. yep, that’s him alright!
I guess that’s all it took for the Mr’s luck to change, cuz he ended up winning a jackpot. Ok, so it was less than $600, but still. It just proves it can be done. My luck on the other hand, got worse. Hmmm…..
So, now we are back home, safe, sound, and a little poorer.
