I did NOT have a tv, my dad let me use my mom's really old car until I managed to save enough to buy my own pos gremlin, and we lived in a two room duplex that needed serious foundation work. The only way we could afford to pay rent is because my uncle owned it. For the life of me, I do not have a clue how people were driving brand new Cadillac's yet paying for their groceries with food stamps. I too am sick of the yammering on about the "poor" in this country. I just LOVE watching the "poor" help themselves to free tv's whenever they riot, abusing government handouts, and the like.
