Now see, if ya had Directv, you could get a serious selection of classical Christmas....any where from the Middle Ages on up. :) Of course, I can only take so much of that too. Heh.

Ah ... Da Yoopers. The same folks who gave us the classic The Second Week of Deer Camp.

Funny thing. Unlike last year, we have very little selection of 24/7 Christmas music, as the radio stations elected to play Scrooge this year. Only WMYX has 24.7 and they started too early on Nov. 1. Why too early? Their library isn't anywhere as good as WOKY's was. They overplay a number of (bad) Christmas songs and don't play anywhere near enough of the Christmas standards that I like.

I don't care if I ever hear again, for example, George Michael's Last Christmas or Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas is You or anything Christmas by John Mellencamp or U2 (and I love Mellencamp and U2's regular music).

I can't listen to that George Michael song without visualizing him in that park men's room in Los Angeles soliciting an undercover cop. And the Ashley Tisdale remake is even worse.
