An Ol' Broad's Ramblings

We Played Tourist

There’s a pretty nice little museum on the shuttle route, so the Mr and I decided, instead of staying in the warm casino all day, we’d go check it out. I’m rather glad we did, but I wish it had been a nicer day. That damp cold wind goes right thought these old bones. I would have like to have taken a tour on the river boat, but perhaps some day in the future….like when it’s 80 degrees!

The Tunica River Park Museum isn’t really extensive, but it’s got some information about the Mississippi River and how it’s affected the country and the economy. If you are ever in these parts, I’d recommend a visit.

Not a great picture of the Tunica Queen, but like I said, it was cold, and the wind was blowing, and that’s about as close as I was going to get to the water….sheltered by the museum building!
