We are isolationists now .. we bully and extort becuase we do not trade or talk to people we don;t like which are more and more countries every year. Ron Paul would stop this path to the true isolationism we are on now and allow ourselves to not be bogged down in fights that are not our own. "Oh, and btw, it is NOT our fault we were attacked. It is NOT our fault the Islamofascists hate us." If a country toppled our elected leader and then gave chemical weapons to a neighbor that tried to invade us, I would go after them as well. Oh wait .. our founding fathers did (minus the chemical weapon). For every cause there is an effect. It doesn't matter .. if we don;t stop our empire now it will be stopped for us when the economy collapses. There is no other path, just the degrees of severity we choose to pick “In this overly global world, Paul’s isolationism will not work.”

I like that he can quote it, but it is a guide and we have moved too far away from it’s intent on some issues, but his isolationist, bury our head in the sand and hope things work out has been tried before… it got us WW2.
