Sharia law in UK is ‘unavoidable’
The Archbishop of Canterbury says the adoption of certain aspects of Sharia law in the UK “seems unavoidable”.
Dr Rowan Williams told Radio 4′s World at One that the UK has to “face up to the fact” that some of its citizens do not relate to the British legal system.
Dr Williams argues that adopting parts of Islamic Sharia law would help maintain social cohesion.
For example, Muslims could choose to have marital disputes or financial matters dealt with in a Sharia court.
He says Muslims should not have to choose between “the stark alternatives of cultural loyalty or state loyalty”.
I wasn’t aware than anyone was forcing Muslims to stay in a semi-democracy. If they don’t like it, if they want to live under Sharia, then by all means, they are more than welcome. I hear Iran is big on cutting off hands, hanging, stoning, etc.
If memory serves, this is the same loon who, every so often, comes out with a new statement about how you can choose not to believe this or that Biblical passage is true, yet still be a perfectly good Christian.
I’m not entirely speechless, but I’m darn close. This is absolutely pathetic.
Europe has been bending over to these vermin, as a whole, for a while now. This takes it to a new level. Hopefully, cooler heads will prevail (for a while).
