An Ol’ Broad’s Ramblings
Snails, Worms and Roots……Oh MY!
I am suffering from a new “disease”, TMGS, or To Much Gardening Syndrome (Mr Ol Broad decided this was my ailment)! If there is a spot on me that isn’t dirty, or aching, I can’t find it! Honestly, I don’t know how they can plant anything in this clay stuff they call dirt. I rather miss that black dirt in Wisconsin, but not much that goes along with it!

So, under the category of “How I Spent My Afternoon”, I present …………………………………………………………………………………….. the results!

Ignore the bush looking stuff, and those….blech…..weeds. I have no idea what they are, and don’t particularly want all them to remain. I worked hard to get just half of the flower bed cleared out, and really needed to get those tulips in the ground. Since it’s been raining pretty much since Friday, they were starting to fall over a little more than I’d like. The hyacinths seemed to do just fine, stuck in a bag, in the garage. I guess a bit of terranium affect didn’t hurt ‘em at all.
So, what’cha think? Remember, I’m very new at this gardening stuff!

Great job!! As much as I would like to garden, I have neither the time nor the patience. Kudos to you.
By the way, I LOVE hyacinths!!! Their scent is heavenly!
Ya should have smelled our garage! LOL It was wonderful. Kind of sorry I had to take ‘em out. The scent was definitely was an improvement over the regular garage smell.
Oh, and thank you, I’m learning as I go along. LOL
