Things I “Hate”!
Have you ever made a list in your head of things that really irritate you? Chap your hide, grate your nerves, gits yer goat? I’m thinking ‘hate’ is a pretty strong word.
Noun: 1 a: intense hostility and aversion usually deriving from fear, anger, or sense of injury b: extreme dislike or antipathy
Verb (transitive): 1 : to feel extreme enmity toward
2 : to have a strong aversion to : find very distasteful Verb (intransitive): to express or feel extreme enmity or active hostility
Now let’s face it, when it gets right down to it, I don’t hate anything, or anyone. I’m too flippin’ lazy, and hating takes up way too much energy. People seem to use up all their energy hating this or that, and I just can’t muster up much umph!
So, without further ado, in no particular order…..first to last, most to least….whatever…they all annoy me!
1) Teenagers. Now, obviously I don’t hate teenagers. But one in particular is annoying me at the present moment, so I have to add her.
2) Faucets that make squealing noises. What is up with that?
3) There’s the guy on the radio out of Corinth, MS. His voice is worse than that guy who does the those commercials. Can’t think of the company, but you know who I mean. He’s a DJ and does the weather. Drives me nuts.
4) People who refuse to listen to anybody but themselves. They claim to want a discussion but won’t discuss. Very annoying.
5) Commercials in general. I understand the need to advertise products, but why on earth must they insult our intelligence to do so?
6) “Cliffhangers”. You know, those idjit shows that leave you hanging all through the summer, even though, truth be told, ya really don’t give a flying flip about most of them.
7) Tailgaters. Now, if you’ve been coming around a while, you already know what I think of those who think they must climb up your butt, no kissing involved, in order to get where they are going faster than need be. I’d really like to smack them.
8 ) Bad hygiene. Now, this is something that puts me over the edge. I don’t wanna smell you, you don’t wanna smell me. If I’m courteous enough not to “pollute” your olfactory, please be nice enough to reciprocate.
9) People who call in the middle of something you really want to watch, and then talk for an half hour so ya miss a good chunk of it. (Thank goodness we’ve got Direct with the DVR stuff and can rewind!)
10) Baggie pants. Now, I know I’m old, and “just don’t get it”, but really….PULL THOSE SUCKERS UP! I don’t want to see your drawers, or your butt crack! Seriously, what’s the purpose of having your britches hanging down to your knees. You look ridiculous.
11) Hardware. The type of hardware that is bolted to your face. Again, you look ridiculous, and if I had a business, there is no way I’d hire you, even at a McDonald’s, that doesn’t seem to have the highest standards.
12) Arrogance is another thing that drives me nuts. The “I’m better than you, and you aren’t good enough to lick my boots” attitude. We see it a lot in many different people, even if it’s subtle, it’s there.
Well, that’s just a few of things that bug me. What about you? What are a few things that get under your skin?
Yup….I’m nosy!

13) People that ask inane questions and then want to argue about the answer.
14) People that pass in no passing zones.
15) Sponge Bob!!!!
16) People who think that you owe them something simply because they consume oxygen.
17) “Global Warming” or “Climate Change” or whatever they are calling it today even the CONSERVATIVE radio station has commercials running to teach us how to prevent something that does not exist!!!
18) Teenagers that dress like grown women!
19) Grown women that dress like teenagers!
20) Neck and face tattoos, who told these people that would be a good idea?!?!?!
21) People that equate Conservative with “Racist” because Conservatism is about opportunity, NOT handouts!
22) Hurricane Katrina “Victims” that are still soaking up that Government (Our) money and the Politicians who keep giving it to them!!
23) People that don’t keep score at a kids baseball game!! Life is a competition, you don’t “Win” just by showing up!!! Success is measured in how many times you accomplish the goal….not how many times you claimed to have tried!!!
24) People that believe “Health Care is a RIGHT”, if it ain’t in the Constitution it ain’t a “Right”!!! I don’t care if Cuba and Canada have free Health Care, I ain’t moving!!!! I don’t however mind if YOU MOVE!!!
25) Hollywood…why can’t they even manage to make a cartoon family friendly?!?!?!
26) Hollywood….I really don’t care what a bunch of OVERPAID CLOWNS political views are!!!!
27) Hollywood….because they think they actually “Work” and deserve the MILLIONS OF DOLLARS THEY GET!!!!
28) Hollywood….because Bin Laden attacked New York when places like San Francisco and Hollywood where available!
29) Hollywood….because they want us to believe homosexuality is normal!!!
30) Hollywood….because they think we need to watch people having sex in order to make a movie successful!!!!
31) Hollywood….because they actually have the nerve to give themselves awards for crappy films with guys having sex and call it “Art”!!!!!!
32) Hollywood….because they will take a tragic and make millions off of it while not helping the people effected by the tragic event they made money off of!!!!!!

33) People who swear to NEVER EVER spank their kids…I don’t hit my kids and haven’t spanked anyone in years…but the fact is sometimes the shortest path to the brain is through the butt!!!
34) People who name their kids idiotic names…it’s not cute and the kid has to grow up and live in the real world someday!!!! While I am on the subject there is no such thing as an “Afrocentric” name it is made up gobblygook that will prevent your child from advancing in the world!!!!
35) Dis-respectful kids and the parents that refuse to control them!!!! I don’t blame the kids….though I have put someone’s kid in a time out right in front of them….I blame the parents!!! I have a rule in my house…kids will behave or they will leave!
36) PMS…because God didn’t give guys and excuse to bite women’s heads off!
37) Funerals…don’t expect me to even show up for my own!!!! Remember me alive…not dead…and no I won’t look “Peaceful” or like I am “Sleeping”….BECAUSE I WILL BE DEAD!!! When I am gone bag my body up and take it out with the rest of the trash….because it will be well used and I ain’t needing it anymore!!!!
38) Liars…”HELLLLLLLOOOOOOO” HILLARY AND OBAMA!!!
39) People who tell you “Everything will be alright”…HOW THE HECK DO YOU KNOW?!?!?!
40) People that make excuses for being dirt bags as adults, because they had a “Bad childhood”! Awwwwwwww…..I had a crappy childhood too…but it is not an excuse to not work or be a wart on the Government’s butt!!!!
41) People that think that a college degree makes you intelligent I don’t down people with a degree…but 86% of Millionares do not have a degree. About the only thing that college can guarantee is that you will be in debt!!!
