Chris Matthews is Still a Moron
I happened to watch this video this morning, and I gotta tell ya, as usual, Mr. Matthews is way off the mark. Why is it that guys like him seem to think we’re all dunderheads? His jealousy of Rush Limbaugh is a continuous source of amusement.
Yes, on occasion, I do listen to Rush. However, not as often as I’d like. The thing about Limbaugh, and many others on talk radio is that they are reflecting what we think, NOT the other way around. The first time I heard Rush on the radio, way back in the early 90s, I was quite taken aback. How did this guy know what I was thinking? And I’m not alone. Millions listen to conservative talk radio on a daily basis. That’s every single day. That says a whole lot about guys like Rush. How many people listen to “progressive” talk radio?
Do you know why so many people are listening to the radio, rather than watching MSNBC? Because they are at WORK! Yes, conservatives actually work for a living, and don’t have time to sit in front of their idjit boxes and listen to guys like Matthews blather on about how horrible things are, and “woe is me”. Nope, we’re a positive bunch, and prefer a positive message. People who spend their time lamenting on the evils of George W. Bush, “Big Oil” and the war in Iraq, really don’t have any idea there are actually people out here who try to find the bright spot in life, and dwell on that, instead of the bad.
Yes, we’re all aware that things aren’t as great as they could be. Yeah? Nothing is. When human beings become perfect, then things will be a whole lot better. Until then, give it a rest!
