I bloomin’ forgot all about the Kentucky Derby!
Kent Desormeaux rides Big Brown to a victory in the 134th Kentucky Derby.
Well, we’ve got a new sink and fixtures coming in the not too distant future, so I guess it was ok to miss it….just this once.
(Yes, honey, it was expensive. Oh, and I found a new stove ya just gotta look at!

It was a damn shame they had to put Eight Belles down, come in 2nd and break both front ankles… We were watching and it was just a tremendous letdown…
I know I’m a wuss, but I really hope they didn’t have the cameras on her when they did it.
Some of the comments I was reading on the Fox Sports site concerning it were really …. I don’t know…..odd?
One person was lamenting why did they have to put her down. I think they deleted it cuz I can’t find it now. I often wonder if these people would prefer an animal to suffer so cruelly, just so they’ll feel better about themselves. I don’t get it.
