An Ol' Broad's Ramblings

I had a bumper sticker on my back window that needed to be removed. I had stuck it over a spot where another small bumper sticker had been previously, and thought, no one would notice. Well, I did, but that’s neither here, nor there. It’s amazing how much dust can accumulate on a rear window, when ya live a quarter mile down a dirt road.

The problem was all the sticky stuff that was left when both of the stickers were removed. I’ve heard you should use peanut butter. One person told me ice would do the trick. Well, I wasn’t going to be sticking my fingers, or anything else, in the peanut butter, and I sure wasn’t going to be holding cubes of ice for any period of time. Ice is COLD, by the way!

So, I decided to use something I’ve found to be extremely useful getting stuff up that’s stuck on the counter. Oh, the joys of having a 15 year old in the house! I decided to try the Miracle Eraser.

Mrs Owen recommended this product a while back, and I’ve been amazed at how well it works, on darn near everything….sinks, counters, tubs, toities, floor….everything!  Although, I certainly would NOT recommend using it on the car itself, but on the glass?  Oh you betcha!  It got all the sticky stuff off!

Now I can put this one on my window!  :)

Oh, they’re amazing all right. Try the shower!

Be careful, though. Never, ever on wood.

LOL I’m going to guess you learned this by experience? :) Yeah, I’ll refrain, although….I wonder if they’re good for stripping stuff if ya wanna refinish? Naw….I’d just buy new. LOL
