I came across this headline last night while looking for something else. I gotta tell ya, it was quite a shock!
McCain woos NRA, attacks Obama
Woos? I wasn’t wooed. Were you wooed? I haven’t come across anyone there that was wooed. Best I could find, was an “Ok, he’s what we’ve got. Reckon we’ll have to deal with him.” Does that sound wooed to you? sigh…
To be honest, even those who had tried to work him into their speeches, seemed to have a tough time. About the only wooin’ I am aware of is when McFeingold did a well deserved smack down on Hussein over Bush’s appeaser remarks in Israel. As Glen Beck said last night, what we’ve got is Moe, Larry and Curly as our presidential candidates this year. Pretty sad.
