Apologies. I meant to post this earlier, but life happened……like having to take Hootie to the vet and pick up my ailing vehicle.
Update: Donations are getting close to the half mil mark! How ’bout we all see if we can’t move it past that MILLION mark??
I’m challenging y’all! Match my gift! $150! Git off yer duffs and do something! Give back! Think of all they do for YOU! I don’t give a flying flip if you agree with the Iraq war or not. This is an ALL VOLUNTARY MILITARY! They deserve our respect, and gratitude!
2nd Update: Donations have passed $600,000!
3rd Update: $698,011
4th Update: A commenter posted the total is now $910,006, but it hasn’t officially been posted yet, so I can’t verify.
5th Update: Looks like it’s gone over ONE MILLION DOLLARS in donations to our troops! $1,055,715!
And just think, no one forced people to give. No one forcefully took money out of paychecks to pay for failed programs. We give because we care! Go figure. And if I ever….EVER…hear another person say “we” aren’t generous enough….”we” don’t give enough….I swear, I may just have to slap the dog crap out of them!
