It is redistribution of wealth. We all know that rich people will not share, if they are not force to. Furthermore, we all know that rich people gain wealth when poor people spend money. Thus, by helping the poor, we ensures that the rich people keep getting their profits and at the same time they also share with the poor via taxes in order for people to spend and survive. Providing jobs is not enough to relieve you from your social responsibilities. Socialism is when the goverment takes all your money and your belongings and leave you with nothing. When government takes 100 million of a billion dollar from a rich man to distribute to those that he pays 6 dollars per hour is not socialism. It is not socialism. It is redistribution of wealth.
