@Longstreet:

Y'know, if some folks (probably carpetbaggers.....pfft!) hadn't turned that flag into a rallying cry for "racist", we wouldn't be having these problems. I get some 'looks' cuz of my front license plate: "American by Birth, Southern by the Grace of God" on the aforementioned flag! Heh.

Some might call me a racist because of my views. Nothing could be farther from the truth. But I don't care what they call me, if I know the truth. That's what matters.

On the Anderson, Tenn., young man with the Confederate Battle Flag suit... we wish him well. If he wins, and he should, since it is a simple case of his First Amendment rights being refused him, I feel certain there will be some kind of appeal. As the Lt. Commander of an SCV camp in North Carolina, I am watching with rapt attention.

I agree with your comments about the Mexican flag, the Palestinian flag, etc, being waved about these days. If the CBF can't be seen in public, then the law should apply across the board.

I can't tell you how much I hope this young man wins this thing.

Thanks for your support!

Best regards!
