Conservatives move against Romney as VP pick
On the day Mitt Romney bowed out of the presidential race last February, his supporters latched onto something of a consolation prize that appeared to bode well for his political future: the warm embrace of hundreds of conservatives whose seal of approval he had long sought.
The enthusiastic ovations Mr. Romney received before and after his speech ending his campaign at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington seemed to signal that he had finally overcome skepticism many conservatives harbored about him and become a a bona fide standard-bearer for their movement.
Honestly, I’m more skeptical of ANYTHING that comes from the NY Slimes, OR PMSNBC!
I’d take a McFeingold/Romney over a B.Hussien/(insert name of leftwing loony here) ANY day. No, I’m not compromising my principles. I will stand by them to the death! Unfortunately, we haven’t been given OUR choice of candidate, so I’m looking toward 2012 to see a return to REAL principles and the COUNTRY first agenda. Time is short, so we’ll have to hold our noses to vote, just to ENSURE there will be no President B. Hussein!

Skepticism mounts over Warren’s presidential forum
The head of the National Clergy Council is doubtful Pastor Rick Warren will ask Barack Obama and John McCain about their stances on abortion during tonight’s presidential forum.
Warren says he plans to ask the two White House hopefuls questions about topics such as the Constitution, poverty, HIV/AIDS, global warming, and human rights. Although Pastor Rob Schenck, president of Faith and Action, says those issues are important, he is concerned Warren will elevate them at the expense of issues that are traditionally of chief concern to Christians.
Uh….what is the point of having a Christian based forum, if you aren’t going to ask CHRISTIAN based questions, and EXPECT an honest answer!
