Gallup Daily: Race Tied as Democratic Convention Starts
The last Gallup Poll Daily tracking polling conducted before the beginning of the Democratic National Convention shows Barack Obama and John McCain tied at 45%.
Personally, I don’t put much stock in polls. They never ask me for my opinion. I’ve yet to meet anyone who has been asked for their opinion in these types of polls, no matter where I’ve lived. North, south, east or west. And even in the middle.
What I find interesting is they call it a ‘sampling’. Of what? Do they randomly go around the country, pick one or two people, ask some loaded questions, and compile that information? Such info can be manipulated into almost anything they want. We’ve seen it happen, over and over.
Nope, don’t put much stock in polls at all! And neither should anyone else. The only poll that counts is the one where you pull the lever, mark the box, or poke the hole.
