Yes, there is a Biden Bear too.

Sarah Palin did GREAT!  Considering she’s only had 5 weeks to prepare, she mopped the floor with Biden.

To be fair, he scored one or two points.  :)

BHO’s VP Pick

Wrong for 36 Years
Human Events

Joe Biden may have middle-class roots, but the coiffed candidate’s Senate voting record does an excellent job disguising them. His voting record over the past 36 years places him far left of the “moderate” lawmaker portrayed by the mainstream media.

Consider the senator’s lifetime averages from several major conservative groups: The American Conservative Union, 13%; National Taxpayers Union, 4% (he has received an ‘F’ from the organization in 13 of the past 16 years); and National Right to Life Committee, 0%.

Americans have been told Biden’s strong suit is his record on defense and foreign policy issues. Having a paper-thin résumé in this area himself, Barack Obama supposedly selected Biden to bring national security experience to the Democratic ticket. But Biden has been on the wrong side of many crucial defense and foreign policy votes since entering the U.S. Senate in 1972.

Letters To TN’s Senators, Corker & Alexander

2 October 2008, 3:04 pm. Comments Off. Filed under Feckless Weasels, Senate.

My letter to Senator Bob Corker:

To say that I am more than disappointed in your vote for this bailout fiasco called a bill is an extreme understatement.  Tinkering with the economy is what prolonged the Great Depression, and you sir, have just helped repeat history.

I am a conservative, fiscal and social, and I can assure you, that I will not be supporting you in your bid for re-election when that time comes.

Since MR Alexander has never once bothered to respond to my inquiries, you might want pass along this message to him:  I will NOT be voting for him in November.

Neither one of you took into consideration what the people of this state, or this country want, or need.  We are not so ignorant that we don’t understand the process.  What we see are a bunch of spoiled children playing at legislating.  Not one person, outside of Washington D.C. has spoken in favor of this bill…NOT ONE, and that includes 150 economists.

My disappointment in you, Lamar Alexander, and President Bush cannot be put into words!

I’m hoping by the time you are up for re-election, a TRUE conservative will step forward!

I also sent one to Senator Lamar Alexander (RINO), in the same vein, and the admonition that I will NOT be voting for him come November 4.

I would urge everyone in Tennessee to let these so called representatives of the state know their vote was against WE, the People.  They may call themselves Republican, but this Party is no longer what it was meant to be.  They might as well call themselves Dhimmi Lite!

I never put up a link to Alexander’s website, supporting his re-election.  I just never trusted him, and obviously, for good reason.  I did have higher hopes for Corker though.

When it comes right down to it, this isn’t a left or right issue.  This is an American issue.  To rearrange a line from Bill Cosby….we brought you in, we can take you out, and find another one just like you.

YOU, work for US!  NOT the other way around!

No Coffee

2 October 2008, 9:33 am. 1 Comment. Filed under Feckless Weasels, Life.

Well, I’m having coffee, I just don’t have much time to read the ‘paper’s this morning.  I have the dubious pleasure of going to get my stitches out this morning.  Oh, yay me!  No doubt he’s going to insist on PT, which I don’t want to do cuz that means I’d have to drive to town all the time.  I know what to do, since I’m getting REAL experienced with this knee nonsense.

In the meantime, I’d like to leave you with this thought…..D.C. has ‘bought’ us all lunch!  With OUR money!

“We’ve sent a clear message to Americans all over that we will not let this economy fail,” said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev. “This is not a piece of legislation for lower Manhattan. This is legislation for all America.”

No, what they have done is inform us they don’t give a sh*t what we say!

Verse of the Day

2 October 2008, 9:26 am. Comments Off. Filed under Faith.

Matthew 3:8-12

8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
