“My program for educating youth is hard. Weakness must be hammered away. In my castles of the Teutonic Order a youth will grow up before which the world will tremble. I want a brutal, domineering, fearless, cruel youth. Youth must be all that. It must bear pain. There must be nothing weak and gentle about it. The free, splendid beast of prey must once again flash from its eyes…That is how I will eradicate thousands of years of human domestication…That is how I will create the New Order.”

‘Ruthless’ for Obama (4 September 2007)
“It’s not enough for you to be a supporter of Barack. You have to go out and build an organization that will deliver votes for Barack Obama,” Woodards tells the 40 campers — most in their 20s — from around the country gathered at the campaign’s national headquarters in the West Loop.
Obama is not like other candidates, and part of this training is learning to mimic the methods he used before he was an elected official — back when he was a community organizer in Chicago following the textbook of legendary agitator Saul Alinsky.
There is something REALLY wrong with these people!
Rivals of Obama know that while he may at times appear to channel Martin Luther King Jr., his methods sometimes give evidence of his allegiance to Alinsky, who shunned starry-eyed idealists and recommended purging do-gooders from organizations. Alinsky wanted results. And his methods often forced the hands of elected officials.
Channel Dr. King? I don’t bloody well think so! There is NOTHING that even slightly resembles King about B. Obama, other than perhaps….skin tone.
There are campers from Maine and California, African immigrants and a woman from Kentucky who was considering leaving the country as her job went non-union and her pay dropped from $12 to $10 an hour. They have paid their way to Chicago because they think Obama can be an agent of change.
Boo freakin’ hoo! So, instead of keeping her job, she lets someone else have it so she can whine to THE One about not having a job. Excuse me, but the logic escapes me!
Just about all the candidates’ campaigns do some version of this volunteer training but others don’t have the candidates’ own backgrounds to draw on in mapping out the training regimen. Alinsky had been dead for a decade when Obama came to organize in Chicago in the ’80s, but his disciples were here ready to train him as Woodards is ready to train the volunteers.
Tell ya what….when someone finds a video of kids singing praises to John McCain, you let me know, ok?
Barack Hussein Obama is NOT a messiah, of any kind, contrary to what many seem to think. What he is, I do believe, is just the opposite.

America Loses Its Dominant Economic Role
George W. Bush has grown old, erratic and rosy in the eight years of his presidency. Little remains of his combativeness or his enthusiasm for physical fitness. On this sunny Tuesday morning in New York, even his hair seemed messy and unkempt, his blue suit a little baggy around the shoulders, as Bush stepped onto the stage, for the eighth time, at the United Nations General Assembly.
If I, or ANYONE, had to live with 8 years of constant bashing, we’d all be worn out. Has he made mistakes? Yes. Has he deserved the BDS, not just here, but around the world? No.
He talked about terrorism and terrorist regimes, and about governments that allegedly support terror. He failed to notice that the delegates sitting in front of and below him were shaking their heads, smiling and whispering, or if he did notice, he was no longer capable of reacting. The US president gave a speech similar to the ones he gave in 2004 and 2007, mentioning the word “terror” 32 times in 22 minutes. At the 63rd General Assembly of the United Nations, George W. Bush was the only one still talking about terror and not about the topic that currently has the rest of the world’s attention.
Well now, I don’t see anyone else trying to stop the Islamification, do you? Lord knows, Britain hasn’t. They’ve gone so far as to basically start requiring their citizens to bow to Mecca five times a day. Sharia courts? Silencing truth? NO, European countries have pretty much given up all pretenses of being democracies.
The American president has always had enemies in these hallways and offices at the UN building on First Avenue in Manhattan. The Iranians and Syrians despise the eternal American-Israeli coalition, while many others are tired of Bush’s Americans telling the world about the blessings of deregulated markets and establishing rules “that only apply to others,” says the diplomat from Berlin.
But the ridicule was a new thing. It marked the end of respect.
In my lifetime, I’ve seen an erosion of respect of America, and Americans, from the Useless Numnuts…ALL of their members, for years. Jealousy is an ugly thing. It’s not surprising, at least to me, that those whose asses we’ve saved many times, should behave in such a disgusting manner….ON OUR SOIL! I’d like nothing more than to send them packing. I’m sure Babylon would welcome them.
They might find it odd that the POTUS spoke of the terror threat instead of the financial crisis. Honestly, I don’t. Trying to get a suppose body of world leaders to accept that the threat is far from over? He might as well have been beating his head against a brick wall. What difference would it make to the financial world if some Islamonazis decided to bomb them into submission? We don’t have to be rich. We DO need to be FREE!
This is no longer the muscular and arrogant United States the world knows, the superpower that sets the rules for everyone else and that considers its way of thinking and doing business to be the only road to success.
Evidently, this pissant is confusing pride with arrogance. What has HIS country given the world? Hmmm??
HEY! ASSHOLE!

Ignoring Facts Are Dangerous
Do Facts Matter?
by Thomas Sowell
Abraham Lincoln said, “You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you can’t fool all the people all the time.”
Unfortunately, the future of this country, as well as the fate of the Western world, depends on how many people can be fooled on election day, just a few weeks from now.
Right now, the polls indicate that a whole lot of the people are being fooled a whole lot of the time.
The current financial bailout crisis has propelled Barack Obama back into a substantial lead over John McCain– which is astonishing in view of which man and which party has had the most to do with bringing on this crisis.
It raises the question: Do facts matter? Or is Obama’s rhetoric and the media’s spin enough to make facts irrelevant?

Paulson Moves On to Nuts and Bolts of Rescue
The bill gave him unprecedented powers to shore up the ailing financial system. With few constraints, Paulson will make all the key decisions on who to hire, when to launch the program and perhaps most importantly how much the government will pay for troubled assets from ailing Wall Street firms. A misstep could mean hundreds of billions in losses for taxpayers or a cascade of failures for banks.
We are SO freakin’ screwed!
Bredesen hires D.C. media consultant
It’s common for state governments to have representatives, even lobbyists, in Washington. But political veterans say it’s unusual — perhaps unique — for a governor to pay for his own public relations manager, without using public money or campaign funds.
“I’ve been around a long time. I’ve dealt with governors and senators and presidents and the like. I have not heard or remember hearing of a governor who has done what he did,” said Jerry Austin, a longtime political consultant who ran Congressman Steve Cohen’s campaign this year, as well as the Rev. Jesse Jackson’s 1988 presidential campaign.
In hiring Payne, the governor established a relationship with a well-connected media expert who could garner him more publicity should he need it in the future.
Some “public servants” should go quietly into private life when their term is up. Guess this one has other ideas, and bigger ambitions.
Federal probe into S.F. sanctuary city policy
A federal grand jury is investigating whether San Francisco’s policy of offering sanctuary to undocumented immigrants violates U.S. laws against harboring people who are in the country illegally, city officials say.
City Attorney Dennis Herrera said his office has hired a criminal defense lawyer to represent employees who might be questioned or asked for documents. He and Mayor Gavin Newsom said they would cooperate with the investigation.
Am I misreading that last paragraph? Does the city actually hire illegals? As far as I’m concerned, SanFran violated laws of sanity and common decency a LONG time ago. Since we use to be the “land of the free”, I guess that made them free to be assholes and encourage crime.
Did Rezko pay for Gov’s house rehab?
The work was done in 2003 shortly after Rezko, a prominent developer, had succeeded in placing his friends and associates on state-government boards that controlled lucrative deals. Rezko was convicted of wide-ranging fraud involving those boards.
In recent weeks, Rezko has broken his long-held silence and sat down in a series of meetings with the feds — a sign he might cooperate in the Blagojevich probe. A spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s office in Chicago declined to comment.
The governor and his wife maintained Friday through a spokesman that they paid for the entire project, though they refused to provide bills, canceled checks, a list of subcontractors or other documentation.
Isn’t it odd that someone in such a position of power would refuse to provide proof, to clear up any misunderstanding? Hmmm….
Ex-US commander ties 1983 bombing to 9/11
Writing in the US naval magazine Proceedings to mark the 25th anniversary of the explosion, Geraghty argues that America’s “timidity to respond created an aura of impunity that the Islamic extremists sensed and pursued all the way to the September 11 attacks.”
I’d say it started even earlier, with Cahtah’s bungling of the Iran hostage situation. Appeasement only gives evil more incentive.
Will free Toyota credit attract buyers?
Nearly all automakers said tighter credit standards knocked buyers from the market last month, when sales industrywide fell 27 percent from a year earlier, hitting less than 1 million for the first time in 15 years.
“What this is a response to is the misconception that getting a loan or leasing a car is difficult to do,” Toyota spokesman Xavier Dominicis said Friday. “At Toyota, it’s not. Our finance arm … it’s in a position to loan money.”
I would at least hope that they’ll actually do a little investigating and find out if the person making the loan is actually in the position to pay back the loan….unlike what the federal gubmint’s previous plan ala Freddie and Fannie.
Qurei: No agreement without Jerusalem
“The Palestinian Authority will not negotiate and will not sign on any agreement with Israel that does not include Jerusalem,” Qurei said during a meeting with the fiery leader of the Islamic Movement in Israel, Sheikh Raed Salah.
“The Palestinian leadership is decisive [in its stance] not to negotiate and conclude matters with the Israelis without Jerusalem,” he continued. “The postponement of the discussion of this issue is aimed at continuing the Israeli plans to Judaize the holy city, especially the Al-Aksa mosque.”
“The Palestinian people reject the harming of their local holy places – both the Muslim and the Christian – in Jerusalem, and see this as a crossing of red lines and creation of a reality on the ground in an attempt to create precedents which would preclude the results of the negotiations on a final status agreement,” Queria said.
Pfft! Don’t throw Christians into your baseless argument. Seems to me that the only ones ‘harming holy places’ are the Muslims! Since Mohammad was never even IN Jerusalem, I’ve yet to figure out what claim they even have to begin with. Jerusalem must NEVER be divided!
Some state legislators facing no opposition to re-election this fall have transferred thousands of dollars from their taxpayer-funded expense accounts to colleagues engaged in contested races.
House Republican Leader Jason Mumpower has acted as a middleman in transfers, receiving $25,000 from the accounts of GOP lawmakers who are retiring or not seeking re-election.
That made him the leading recipient of transfers from the “postage and printing” funds that are intended to cover each individual legislator’s costs of communicating with his or her constituents.
I wonder if this is why we’re getting so much mail from people we’ve never even heard of running for office, on BOTH sides. Why don’t they just give the unused funds back to the taxpayers? Heaven forbid!
Bush signs Great Lakes water accord
Great Lakes water cannot be diverted to thirsty areas elsewhere in the United States and abroad under an agreement signed Friday by President Bush.
Approval of the Great Lakes Compact was the final step in a nearly decade-long quest to strengthen legal protections for the five Great Lakes, their connecting channels and the St. Lawrence River. It received bipartisan support and the backing of business and environmental groups and both presidential candidates.
The pact “will provide sustainable use and responsible management of waters from the Great Lakes Basin and will preserve the Great Lakes for the benefit and enjoyment of present and future generations,” said James L. Connaughton, chairman of the White House Council on Environmental Quality.
While this sounds like a great idea on the top, I question what lies beneath the surface. More regulations of home owners living on the lakes? I know there’s something! There always is.
N. Koreans said working at secret site near Teheran on nuke warheads
North Korea has been helping Iran develop nuclear warheads for missiles, according to an Iranian opposition group.
The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), an anti-Iranian government organization, said last week that Iran set up a secret facility in the suburbs of Teheran for dozens of North Korean experts to design rockets and warheads.
According to the group, the North Koreans used an improved version of the Shihab-3 missile, modeled after North Korea’s No-Dong missile. Its warhead is said to be compatible with that of the No-Dong.
I wonder if Biden knows about this, considering his statements at the debate.
Verse of the Day
Psalm 1:1-6
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Justice……FINALLY!
O.J. Simpson Found Guilty on All Charges in Robbery-Kidnap Trial
O.J. Simpson, who went from American sports idol to celebrity-in-exile after he was acquitted of murder in 1995, was found guilty Friday of robbing two sports-memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel room.
The 61-year-old former football star could spend the rest of his life in prison. Sentencing was set for Dec. 5.
A weary and somber Simpson released a heavy sigh as the charges were read by the clerk in Clark County District Court. He was immediately taken into custody.
Not quite the same arrogant fellow, is he. He should never have seen the light of day after brutally murdering his ex-wife and Goldman, but with the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison, I guess it’ll have to do. The REAL justice will come later from THE Judge.
