Connecticut High Court Permits Gay Marriage
Connecticut’s Supreme Court has ruled that same-sex couples have the right to marry, making that state the third behind Massachusetts and California to legalize such unions.
The court agreed with the plaintiffs, who said the state’s marriage law discriminates against them because it applies only to heterosexual couples, therefore denying gay couples the financial, social and emotional benefits of marriage.
Eight same-sex couples sued in 2004, saying their constitutional rights to equal protection and due process were violated when they were denied marriage licenses.
Our society has surely sunk below the level of decency.

This ruling by wicked and abominable lawyers promoting the dissolution of the sacredness of our Religous institutions must stop. If we do not stop this onslaught our sacred Church edifices will be required to have these marriages within their walls under penalty of the law. How can a country founded on Religous freedom and protecting it ever hope to continue with this? It is important to note that in 2 states, California and Massachussets, both have requested help from the Federal Government for special loan rates like overnight banks. Do we not see the hand of Providence in this and will Conneticut be the next to suffer their fate? Let us hope for the best as our country fights this battle…all is not lost. We can join unitedly in support of these individuals with these tendecies, but we cannot let their behavior spill over and destroy our religous practices.
