ATF: Disrupted skinhead plot in Tenn., Ark. to kill Obama, 102 blacks
Law enforcement agents have broken up a plot by two neo-Nazi skinheads to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and shoot or decapitate 88 black people, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives said Monday.
In court records unsealed Monday in U.S. District Court in Jackson, Tenn., federal agents said they disrupted plans to rob a gun store and target a predominantly African-American high school in a murder spree that was to begin in Tennessee. Agents said the skinheads did not identify the school by name.
What the hell is the matter with people????? Not voting for a guy because you can’t support his policies is one thing. Going on a shooting spree, murdering innocent kids? Not just no, but HELL NO!
Jim Cavanaugh, special agent in charge of ATF’s Nashville field office, said the two men planned to kill 88 people, including 14 African-Americans by beheading. The numbers 88 and 14 are symbolic in the white supremacist community.
Not being a ‘white supremacist’, I have NO idea why those numbers are important. Honestly, I don’t think I want to know.
“They said that would be their last, final act — that they would attempt to kill Sen. Obama,” Cavanaugh said. “They didn’t believe they would be able to do it, but that they would get killed trying.”
What kind of mind conceives of such evil?
The men, Daniel Cowart, 20, of Bells, Tenn., and Paul Schlesselman 18, of Helena-West Helena, Ark., are being held without bond. Agents seized a rifle, a sawed-off shotgun and three pistols from the men when they were arrested. Authorities alleged the two men were preparing to break into a gun shop to steal more.

How stupid did these two have to be to actually believe they could do something like this? Did they believe that murdering high school kids was going accomplish anything? Other than having dead kids, and destroyed families?
“They seemed determined to do it,” Cavanaugh said. “Even if they were just to try it, it would be a trail of tears around the South.”
I am speechless.
I Hate Packing
I never know what I’m going to need, so tend to over pack. This time, I’m trying not to do that. Notice I say “TRYING”!

Father Jonathan: Obama’s No Robin Hood
Robin Hood is a legitimate hero, not because he robbed from the rich and gave to the poor, but rather because he returned to the poor what lawfully belonged to them.
This distinction is what separates the just goals of Robin and his band of “Merry Men” from the dehumanizing economic theory of “redistribution of wealth”—a hallmark of socialism—as explained and supported by Senator Barack Obama in his 2001 interview with Chicago Public Radio, just recently rediscovered by the media.
While the famed green archer risked his life in defense of the natural right to retain private property (from thieves like the cruel sheriff of Nottingham and King John who stripped peasants of their land and livelihood), in this interview Senator Obama questions to what extent this right even exists.

There can be no longer any doubt. Senator Obama’s enduring political philosophy is socialist at the core. And his leanings, in this regard, are radical; he would like to see all three branches of the federal government play a role in restructuring our society according to “redistributive” economic principles.
As I listen to the interview, I must say it is hard to believe our leading United States presidential candidate said, just seven years ago, that it is a tragedy the civil rights movement failed to get the Supreme Court to venture into the issues of redistribution of wealth. It is hard to believe the leading United States presidential candidate said, just seven years ago, “any three of us sitting here could come up with a rationale for bringing economic change through the courts.” It is hard to believe the leading United States presidential candidate suggested, just seven years ago, we should be seeking legislative and administrative avenues to effect “redistributive change,” since it is impractical now to get the courts to do it on their own. It’s even harder to believe the leading United States presidential candidate, just seven years ago, was talking about the importance of community organizers “putting together the actual coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change.”
But then again, maybe I shouldn’t be surprised. Seven years later, and just one month before Election Day, Senator Obama said to Joe the Plumber, word for word, “I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everyone.”
I don’t doubt Senator Obama’s good will. In fact, he is right about many things.
The great divide between the rich and the poor in our times is scandalous and reprehensible. And the blessings of this earth were destined by God for the common good of all his creatures.
But we know from history, from very sad periods of history, there is no real justice—no progress and no lasting peace—when its pursuit involves beating down some to lift up others. And we also know, by the dictates of reason and the practice of all ages, that when the government decides it can suspend the natural right to private property, through repossession or redistribution, or whatever they choose to call it, that government is on the wrong side of truth.
Just ask Robin Hood.

Obama asks U.S. voters to “turn the page”
Democrat Barack Obama on Monday called on voters to “turn the page” on the policies of the Bush administration as he emphasized his message of change in a closing argument for the presidential campaign.
If Bubba H thinks the American people will actually sit still for his kind of “change”, he seriously needs to rethink the whole thing. A few days ago, he said something to the effect of expecting blood shed. He has no idea just how right he is if he wants to impose Marxism on freedom loving people! Wake up people! He is NOT the Chosen One! He’s nothing more than a tool for evil, and you are drinking the Kool Aid!
Civilians attack UN compound in eastern Congo
Thousands of civilians threw rocks at the United Nations compound in eastern Congo on Monday, venting outrage at the organization’s inability to protect them from rebel forces advancing on the provincial capital of Goma.
The crowd shattered windows and damaged cars, U.N. spokeswoman Sylvie van den Wildenberg said. There were no immediate reports of any one injured.
People in eastern Congo are angry that a 17,000-strong U.N. peacekeeping force has been unable to protect them from a rebel attack just 25 miles north of the city. Tens of thousands of civilians have abandoned their homes.
I don’t think they are ‘unable’. I believe the UN is UNWILLING. That is the most useless organization ever created. They do the exact opposite of what they are intended. Get rid of it….NOW!
Dutch police officers swear allegiance to Allah
Dutch police in the Gouda region have sworn in police officers who swore allegiance to Allah. The small Christian party SGP has demanded an explanation from the government.
Under current arrangements, police in the Netherlands can choose between the Christian oath (’So help me God Almighty) and the neutral vow (’I declare and promise…’). But it has been revealed that n Gouda, the option has existed for years for Islamic officers to use the oath that runs: ‘In the name of Allah, the Merciful Compassionate, and he is my witness that I promise this.’ The hand must be placed on the Koran for this.

‘US strike’ kills Taleban leader
A suspected US missile strike has killed 20 people, including a top Taleban commander, in north-west Pakistan, witnesses and officials say.
Mohammad Omar was among the dead when the missile, reportedly fired by a pilotless US drone, hit a compound owned by him in South Waziristan.

Iran: We arm ME ‘liberation armies’
A top Revolutionary Guards commander has said Iran is supplying weapons to “liberation armies” in the Middle East, a state-run news agency reported – the first official confirmation the country provides weapons to armed groups in the region.
Gen. Hossein Hamedani, deputy commander of a volunteer militia that is part of the elite Revolutionary Guards, did not provide specific details. But Iran is widely believed to provide weapons to Hizbullah. The US military has also accused Iran of arming Shi’ite militias in Iraq.
“Not only are our armed forces self-sufficient, liberation armies of the region get part of their weapons from us,” Borna news quoted Hamedani as saying on its Web site late Sunday.
Yeah….we know that. Now, can we wipe ‘em out? They really are a danger to the entire world. Serving tea and crumpets will not help!
Halloween Palin Prop Sparks Controversy In WeHo
Sarah Palin is not considered to be a friend of the gay community, but the Republican vice presidential candidate seems to be looming over the West Hollywood Halloween Carnival.
First, a rumor got started that city officials were going to ban Sarah Palin drag queens at its upcoming costumed street party, which draws some 500,000 people annually.
The rumor turned out to be false, but tonight comes word that a mannequin has been outfitted to look like Palin — with glasses, a beehive wig and a red business suit — and is hanging from a noose outside a WeHo residence.
Oh yeah….really classy there folks! Wonder what the reaction would be if it were an Obama mannequin? Think there would be a ho hum attitude? The outrage would be deafening.
Mayor Herenton’s side job raises questions
Real estate records show Herenton Investment Co., the mayor’s private real estate development business, has sold property to at least four Memphis city workers or officials appointed by the mayor.
As mayor, Willie Herenton has the power to appoint people to powerful boards or organizations and set the pay for employees. Herenton can also influence where large city redevelopment projects are located, and that could conflict with his private real estate interests.
At least one of Herenton’s real estate transactions — a land deal with a city contractor that netted the mayor $50,000 — has drawn the scrutiny of the FBI, but the mayor’s dealings with employees or appointees also raise questions.
