20) Chris Dodd: Dodd, who ran a perfectly awful campaign for President, was one of the few candidates who didn’t get an invitation to join Barack Obama’s cabinet. Was it because he’s so tragically boring? No, it’s because not only was he, like Barney Frank, an enabler for the whole financial crisis that has currently engulfed the U.S. economy — he also got a sweetheart deal from Countrywide and then turned around and helped funnel billions of dollars their way during the bailout. Of course, Dodd claimed that he had no idea he was getting such a great deal because he is a U.S. Senator. He simply thought they were rewarding him for being such a good customer!
That’s how it always seems to work with crooked politicians like Chris Dodd: companies funnel in money on the front end and the pols pay them back with taxpayer money by the bank vault full while shifting the blame elsewhere.

The Palestinian, The Fly And The Cup Of Coffee
What happens when a fly falls into a coffee cup? Well, the outcome is dependent on your cultural proclivities:
The Italian throws the cup, breaks it, and walks away in a fit of rage.
The German carefully washes the cup, sterilizes it and makes a new cup of coffee.
The Frenchman takes out the fly, and drinks the coffee.
The Chinese eats the fly and throws away the coffee.
The Russian drinks the coffee with the fly, since it was extra with no charge.
The Israeli sells the coffee to the Frenchman, sells the fly to the Chinese, sells the cup to the Italian, drinks a cup of tea, and uses the extra money to invent a device that prevents flies from falling into coffee.
Ah, but what does the Palestinian do with his fly infested coffee? I thought you’d never ask…

The Palestinian blames the Israeli for the fly falling into his coffee, protests the act of aggression to the UN, takes a loan from the European Union to buy a new cup of coffee, uses the money to purchase explosives and then blows up the coffee house where the Italian, the Frenchman, the Chinese, the German and the Russian are all trying to explain to the Israeli that he should give away his cup of tea to the Palestinian.
Note: the war weary Israeli was wearing full body armor, so he lived to tell us this tale.

Taliban bans education for girls in Swat Valley
“From January 15, girls will not be allowed to attend schools,” Mullah Shah Doran, the Taliban second in command in the scenic Swat Valley, announced in a recent radio address. Mullah Doran said educating girls is “un-Islamic.”
The announcement is a further blow to a system in which female enrollment already has plunged because of ongoing violence. Three years ago, more than 120,000 girls attended schools and colleges in the region, which has a population of 1.8 million. Now only about 40,000 are enrolled.
Where are the feminazis when you need them? Oh, I guess educating girls in a muzzie area isn’t one of their “causes du jour”. Come to think of it, the so called ‘human rights’ bunch don’t much care that girls are being murdered if they do want to learn. Yep. Keeping women ignorant and spiritually crushed keeps men in control, and that’s just FINE with those type of feminists. Pfft! Hypocrites! I guess they too believe that females are only good to teach to be suicide bombers.
State lawmakers will consider a bill in the upcoming session that proposes reducing the sales tax on food from 5.5 percent to 4.5 percent. The last tax cut took effect a year ago, when the then-6 percent rate was decreased.
The average Tennessee family of four pays about $370 annually in sales taxes on food, the state Department of Revenue says.
One of the more ridiculous things I found out when I moved here was their tax system is totally out of whack! I can buy a new door for my house, and pay no tax. Why? Because it’s a permanent fixture. Go to the grocery store in this county, and you’ll be paying 9.25% MORE for food than the actual cost. Why? Well, there’s the state, the county and the city taxes tacked on. Taxing a necessity like food makes NO sense. Considering the state legislature has been controlled by Dhimmis since …..forever….I suppose it’s not surprising. And they wonder why people near state lines go to bordering states to buy groceries? Pfft! Morons! Hell yeah cut that tax….and by a LOT more than 1%! You want to keep money IN the state? Stop driving folks OUT of the state to shop!
Harlem Church Offers Special Prayer for Israel During Gaza War
A church in the Manhattan neighborhood of Harlem, run by pro-Israel Bishop Carlton Brown, included a special prayer for the Jewish people and the State of Israel in its weekly Sunday prayer on January 4.
Brown, who runs an association of 18 churches in New York and serves as Senior Pastor of the Bethel Gospel Assembly, organized the event.
Approximately 1,000 people participated in the special prayer, which was attended by Israel’s Consul-General to New York Assi Shariv and covered by every major New York television station.
Every single Christian should be on their knees praying for Israel. Every church should be offering up ‘special prayers’ for their safety against a bunch of murderous thugs. The ignorance in this country about the tiny county is absolutely amazing. Sadly, a LOT of Christians seem totally unaware of their connection, and how important it is for us to have an Israel to look to.
France seeks Gaza truce as Israel presses assault
The offensive will go on until communities in Israel were safe from Hamas rocket strikes, Defence Minister Ehud Barak said.
But Hamas said militants were justified in attacking Israeli schools and synagogues in response to the Israeli onslaught, in which about 530 Palestinians have been killed in 10 days.
Just because France raises the white flag every time things get tough, they think Israel should too? I don’t bloody well think so! And this British paper fails to state that Hamas was lobbing rockets into schools and civilian neighborhoods LONG before this conflict even started. NO! And not just NO, but HELL NO! Israel must finish this job! Hamas must be wiped out once and for all! Send a very clear message…”We are not going to take it anymore! NEVER AGAIN!”
Tancredo, Allard ride off into political sunset
By repeatedly making provocative statements during his 10 years in Congress, Tancredo believes he spurred activism and helped block legislation that would have allowed illegal immigrants to eventually gain legal status.
“I’ve been responsible for moving an issue — immigration reform — farther than any member before,” Tancredo said. “I have a sense of accomplishment. It makes me feel good.”
So who in D.C. is going to take up the anti illegal mantel now that Tancredo is gone? Odds are….no one. No one has the cajones to step up for the American people. They’re all a bunch of simpering weasels!
Father suspected of stabbing son in back
A 47-year-old man remains in police custody this morning after allegedly stabbing his son in the back during an argument on the city’s north side yesterday.
Milwaukee police said this morning that the father and son, 20, were arguing in the 3300 block of N. 21st St. when the stabbing occurred. Police responded to the scene about 4:40 p.m.
Obviously, many believe growing up really IS an option. I don’t care how angry you get at your kid, or how old/young he/she is….you do NOT resolve anything by stabbing them in the back….literally!
Democrat Al Franken Won Minnesota Senate Race, State Board Set to Announce
The state Canvassing Board was poised to certify the results of the recount in Minnesota’s grueling Senate election in Al Franken’s favor on Monday — but that doesn’t mean the race is definitely over.
The board was to meet Monday and was expected to declare which candidate received the most overall votes from nearly 3 million ballots cast. The latest numbers showed Franken, a Democrat, with a 225-vote lead over Republican Sen. Norm Coleman.
What a large stinking pile of male bovine excrement! Just one more Democrat doing what Democrats do….lie, cheat and steal to get what they want! Weasel doesn’t even begin to describe this scuzball!
