AZ Protest
Yeah yeah….we’re in a hotel with WiFi. And no, I’m not going to be doing a lot of posting. Got things to do, places to go, and people to see. But I HAD to post this picture from the Mesa, AZ protest of B. Hussein’s Porkulus bill.

Me too, sir. Me too!
And there’s NO doubt that conservatives have a sense of humor. Gotta see more of the pictures on Michelle Malkin’s place.

Rancher cleared in rights case
A federal jury in Tucson ruled Tuesday that an Arizona rancher did not violate the civil rights of 16 Mexican nationals he stopped after they sneaked illegally into the United States, but awarded $78,000 in actual and punitive damages on claims of assault and the infliction of emotional distress.
The jury of four men and four women returned the verdict Tuesday afternoon in U.S. District Court in Tucson after a day and a half of deliberation. The jury, after a nine-day trial, also threw out charges of false imprisonment, battery and conspiracy against Douglas, Ariz., rancher Roger Barnett.
What a crock a male bovine excrement! Not one single dime should have gone to the criminals! What the hell is wrong with our legal system???? I suppose I should be happy the charges were dropped, but there should have been NO charges in the first place!!!!! And they ought to feel damn lucky the man didn’t shoot the invaders!
He got so drunk that he fell into the path of a subway train – costing him his right leg – but a Manhattan jury still awarded him $2.3 million after finding that NYC Transit was to blame.
Dustin Dibble, 25, of Brooklyn admitted he’d been boozing it up with friends for four hours before ending up on the tracks at the 14th Street Station with an N train bearing down on him. The impact took off his right leg just below the calf.
He had a .18 blood-alcohol level – more than double the legal limit if he were driving – at the time of the accident, according to hospital records.
Personal responsibility really is a thing of the past. No one but himself caused his injuries, but the city will have to pay for his stupidity. Anyone else see a problem here?
Tennessee lawmaker wants to relax horse meat law
A Tennessee lawmaker wants to legalize the sale of horse meat in the form of whole carcasses.
Rep. Frank Niceley says current laws that require any horse meat sold in Tennessee to first be packaged and labeled. The Strawberry Plains Republican argues that those rules combined with federal laws effectively bans the sale of horse meat in the state.
Niceley says existing laws lead to live horses being hauled to slaughter in Mexico under inhumane conditions.
In Niceley’s words: “Horses don’t need to be dragged across two continents for sale.”
Horse meat? I’ve eaten ostrich, buffalo, rattle snake, cougar, and even tried skunk once. But horses? I don’t think I could do it, any more than I could eat a cat, or a dog. Well, if I was REALLY hungry, maybe. But who eats horse meat? And why?
Teenage mother ‘told to say 13-year-old Alfie was baby’s father to cash in on their story’
Underage father Alfie Patten is the victim of a scam to make as much money as possible out of media deals, it has been claimed.
Chantelle Stedman was told by her mother to say that 13-year-old Alfie was the baby’s father so that they could cash in on their incredible story, according to a close friend of Chantelle’s parents.
Clive Sim, 39, claims that the schoolgirl was ordered to keep quiet about sleeping with other boys so that the ‘teenage dad’ story could be sold to newspapers for thousands of pounds.
Well now, isn’t that peachy. Two sets of “prize” parents. Selling your kids. Wonder if they can be charged with exploitation, pimping, something! There is obvious abuse here. What kind of parents would use their kids to make money? Oh yeah….the welfare type. And that’s what England has become, hasn’t it….a socialist welfare state. A MUSLIM socialist welfare state.
Hamas rejects Israel’s truce conditions
Hamas announced Wednesday is was “rejecting” Israel’s official stand on the ceasefire agreement, which preconditions any long-term truce, as well as the opening of the Gaza crossings, with the release of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.
The organization stressed that its prerequisite to Shalit’s release was the parallel release of 1,000 Palestinian prisoners held in Israel.
Hamas leaders in Damascus chided Israel for essentially scorning Egypt’s meditation efforts, and said that the conditions for the captive soldier’s release were non-negotiable.
I’m starting to wonder if the young man is still alive. Even the Palies know that one Israeli is worth more than a hundred thousand of them. Hamas doesn’t want peace. They never have, they never will. If they got their wish of no Jews, they’d begin to slaughter their neighbors, then their own. They are murderous thugs who have no conscious, no morals, and no humanity.
Beheading in New York Appears to Be Honor Killing, Experts Say
The beheading of 37-year-old Aasiya Hassan has all the markings of an honor killing, psychologists and Islamic experts tell FOXNews.com, as the upstate New York woman’s husband awaits a preliminary hearing on murder charges.
Gee. Y’think? The media is just now figuring out what the majority of us already knew? Criminy. They can make excuses, saying the POS was trying to build bridges and all that, but I’m afraid I just do not believe there is any such thing as a “moderate” Muslim when push comes to shove.
Fitzgerald’s investigation of Ald. Carothers is heating up
Despite the City Council’s sordid history of corruption, Arenda Troutman (20th) was the first Chicago aldermen caught by U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald for crimes committed while on the City Council.
But the former alderman may not be the last council member in his sights. Sources said a federal investigation of Ald. Isaac Carothers (29th) is heating up, and it apparently goes far beyond Carothers’ relationship with a Chicago developer who moonlighted as an FBI mole.
Last year, the Chicago Sun-Times disclosed that federal investigators had requested city records on four West Side zoning changes pushed by Carothers. He had received campaign contributions from two of the businesses seeking the changes.
Do the people in Chicago really not care? Or is it one of those “that’s the way it’s always been done” scenarios? Criminy! Grow a set people! Get rid of the scum that have destroyed your city. Make a clean break! Sheesh! Thanks to y’all, we’ve got one of YOUR ‘class acts’ in the White House, and we are ALL suffering for it. Thanks ever so much.
Mexicans block bridges to protest army presence in cities
Hundreds of people blocked bridges to the United States in three border cities Tuesday, demanding the army leave in another challenge for the Mexican government as it struggles to quell escalating drug violence.
While there are no doubt abuses by the military, that’s what the Mexican military does, I wonder if those who were protesting really enjoy having drug thugs in charge of their lives? Or were the ones out on the bridges actually in the employment of said thugs? Perhaps there should be some questions? Just a thought.
Court reverses ruling bringing 17 detainees to US
A federal appeals court has overturned a ruling that would have transferred 17 Guantanamo Bay detainees to the United States.
The men are Turkic Muslims known as Uighurs (WEE’-gurz). They have been cleared for release from Guantanamo, but the United States will not send them home to China for fear they will be tortured. So they remain in prison while the U.S. figures out what to do with them.
They could have solved that problem a LONG time ago. No prisoners. Hey….fight fire with fire, right?

Verse of the Day
Isaiah 58:9-11
9 Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
10 And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day:
11 And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
