Um, you do realize that trees use carbon dioxide and expel oxygen, right?
    That ‘toon makes no sense.

  2. olbroad. 10 March 2009, 11:51 pm

Um…..yes….I do. Which is why the ‘toon is amusing.

Let’s see if I can explain this to ya. Since the EPA, the current POTUS, and way too many of the extreme moonbats are unaware that CO2 …… oh….never mind. sigh….

Oh, I thought the cartoonist was mixing Obama up with the conservative’s deity, Reagan:

“Trees cause more pollution than automobiles do.” — Ronald Reagan, 1981

“A tree is a tree. How many more do you have to look at?” — Ronald Reagan, 1966, opposing expansion of Redwood National Park as governor of California

    SMACK!

A tree IS a tree. And they do cause quite a bit of pollution. I mean, it’s that what all the squawk is about? CO2? Gracious sakes. Ya can’t have it both ways.

Tell you what…you hold your breath, and I’ll use up YOUR oxygen…expel enough CO2 for both of us, and help grow trees, K? :P

  5. capper. 11 March 2009, 6:32 am

    What pollution? Leaves?

  6. Kate. 11 March 2009, 8:08 am

sigh….by way of US expelling CO2, and them using it to produce oxygen. ‘Round about way.

And yeah….leaves supposedly use to cause pollution. Nothing like the smell of burning leaves in the fall. :)

The entire CO2 thing is just a waste of money, time and resources. We have other pressing issues like nationalizing healthcare, more money to destroy on Wall Street with negative press releases, and keeping people from improving their situation.

We need to print more worthless money. Inflate the economy which was not inherited – and raise taxes. Why not just jack the darn taxes to 80% and get it done. Government knows so much.

I am I to eat my government cheese, live in my government house, and wipe my backside with newspaper?

Government is no friend of mine… Remember the Bastards of Bataan. No reinforcements, no ammunition, no where to go and no Uncle Sam. Seems to me the Washington crowd wants us to surrender. They also forget history. Read history in what happened in the early 1930s and around 1937. The current rescue crowd knows nothing about what has been tried in the past. They just have their agenda.

Wait for the confiscation of your guns and gold next after the limit on salary by taxes. Next will be the freedom of the press, speech and assembly.

Well now, I do believe you hit a few nails there Kevin.

    Mmm,

Nationalizing healthcare, that’s bad. All it would do is promote everyone’s health and save money.

Funny thing is I just did my taxes here in Wistaxson, or whatever they call it. My property tax went down by $200, my state income tax went down by $300 and my federal taxes, since the dems got one of the houses at least, while under Bush, went down $200. That doesn’t make up for the extra $400 per year that we paid under Bush’s so called “tax cuts”, but it’s a start.

And we had already lost those freedoms under the dictatorship of BushCheney. It’s good to have my money back and even better to have my freedoms back.

  10. olbroad. 11 March 2009, 9:10 pm

Nationalizing health care will NOT promote anything but more government intervention.

And I don’t know what freedoms you’ve gotten returned that were EVER taken away under Bush. I suspect it’s all a matter of your perception VS reality?

  11. capper. 11 March 2009, 9:35 pm

Which happen to match perfectly. I am not the one that thinks ending plutarchy equated to socialism.

  12. Kate. 11 March 2009, 9:53 pm

LMAO Gracious sakes capper! You can’t be serious!

  13. capper. 11 March 2009, 10:06 pm

    Why can’t I be?

  14. Kate. 12 March 2009, 7:54 am

Oh, I dunno….maybe I was giving you too much credit. sigh…

Have you actually LOOKED at the money people behind the Democrats? Seriously LOOKED?
