Wrong gender, but hey….it’s the spirit, right?
Ok, so I got tired of scraping wallpaper, and decided to snoop around. Found this at Cutting Edge.
Masscahusetts Rep. Barney Frank called Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia a “homophobe” in an interview released Monday on a gay online news site, and said he hoped a challenge to a federal law widely disliked in the gay community will not be heard before the high court until new justices are seated on the bench.
Frank, who is gay, made the remark in responding to a question about legal challenges to the Defense of Marriage Act. The 1996 law says the federal government and states have no obligation to recognize same-sex marriages even if other states allow them.
“At some point, [the Defense of Marriage Act] is going to have to go to the United States Supreme Court,” the congressman, a Democrat, said. “I wouldn’t want it to go to the United States Supreme Court now because that homophobe Antonin Scalia has got too many votes on this current court.”
As always, Frank shows his class. /snark
It’s extremely sad when an elected official pushes an agenda that a LARGE number of Americans sees as a sin. The nation was founded on Judeo-Christian principles, and ‘people’ like Frank has done everything in their power to destroy that foundation.
The idea that the people of Massachusetts keep electing this slime ball just amazes me. Sure does say a LOT about them, doesn’t it.
Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Frank is an abomination!
In a total 180° turnaround from depressing news, go have a laugh over at a new blog, The Presidential Teleprompter.
I honestly don’t know whether to laugh of cry.
Shall we discuss Special Olympics gaffe, or perhaps the wondrous gift of the DVDs , which, by the way, only work in North American DVD players? Neither of those? How about the 60 Minutes debacle, or not knowing the identity of the current French President?
You can’t make this stuff up.
We are in the midst of an economic crisis. People are losing their life’s savings, their jobs and their homes. And I’m not talking about those idjits who bought a house that they knew darned well they couldn’t afford; I’m talking about everyday people who are losing everything they have. And yet…AND YET…this imbecile is yukking it up on Leno, and serving up “gallow humor” on 60 minutes. Seriously? Is BHO that out of touch with everyday people? There aren’t many folks I know who would appreciate that humor.
There are times that I’m actually speechless with the ignorance being displayed by the President, and in case you hadn’t noticed, that is not easy to do. Does he not have advisors? Do they not know how to google?
The arrogance or ignorance of this man is unprecedented. And you know what galls me? Can you just IMAGINE if this had been Bush, or Palin, or McCain? Hell – let the lynching begin! Yet somehow, since it’s BHO, it’s okay? Well, I’ll tell you one thing right now – it’s NOT okay with me. He is making a mockery of the presidential office, and of this country. It makes me fear where we will be four years from now.
Update: The Senate bill number may be S277
Do you ever wonder if the Senate changes the number of a bill to confuse us moronic masses out here in the real world? Evidently, they really do think we’re stupid, and will never figure out what they are up to. Psst! Hey Harry! BITE ME!

You can call it whatever you want, it’s still a piece of crap, and IMHO, anyone who votes FOR this violation of decency, and the U.S. Constitution, should be tried for treason! But, that’s just me.
