An Ol' Broad's Ramblings

This tower was specifically built to show off the physical power of the excavator.
What ever the operator of this machine gets paid, it’s not enough!

So, if you are planning on attending your local Tea Party, keep a few things in mind:
Demonstration Rules of Order
A demonstration is all about communicating and “Winning the hearts and minds of the people.”
We communicate to those who are physically present, and through the media to others who are not.
· Vulgar or aggressive behavior is not permitted
· Report vulgar or aggressive behavior immediately to police or to designated event authorities
· Do not obstruct traffic or other people
· Be courteous to the media – most are decent people just doing a job. Some are professional journalists with integrity. A few are not, and these will be glad to broadcast any discourtesy.
· If you are “interviewed” by anyone, this is your opportunity to inform. Provide a thoughtful, reasonable response and try to base it upon generally known facts and common sense.
· If a “Counter-demonstrator” appears, do not engage them in an argument or allow them to provoke you. Tolerate them, and film them in case they do something provocative to.
· Meet new friends – collect stuff – join groups
· Have fun!
Now, odds are, most folks who attend these events, in good faith, already have good sense, and good manners. However, just in case, I thought I’d repost these simple rules that have been posted on several on the NING sites by Git-R-Done.
Notice to ‘heather, ‘carrie’, ‘a lib’, or whatever else you want to call yourself. You are banned. Got it? Banned. There is just so much moonbattery we will tolerate, and your suck up attitude is just more than we can take. Your comments go straight to spam, read by me, and deleted.
You are welcome to read, but you will not be allowed to leave comments. Well, not exactly true, you can leave ‘em, just no one else will be reading them.
If this doesn’t make blood shoot out of your eyes, nothing will!
Now, this might just be me, but I’m of the mind that the filth that does crap like this should have a bullet, right between their useless eyes.
Observe how the Obama media machine and soulless liberal media jumped on Rush Limbaugh’s comments that he “wanted Obama to fail.”
Anyone with a half a brain knows Rush wants only this: for America to succeed and for anti-American policies to fail.
To leave no doubt where I, your humble Motor City guitarslinger, stands, let me report without ambiguity, that I get down on bended knee daily and pray to God that he does what he can to ensure President Obama fails.
To repeat: I pray for President Obama to fail.
“Let me say this as clearly as I can,” Obama said. “The United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. In fact, our partnership with the Muslim world is critical … in rolling back a fringe ideology that people of all faiths reject.”
Wanna freakin’ bet?????
The U.S. president is trying to mend fences with a Muslim world that felt it had been blamed by America for the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Uh….let’s see…..were there any blonde haired, blue eyed, Episcopalians hijackers on 9/11? No, I don’t think so! So, you tell me….who should be blame? Why, it would be a religion that promotes pedophilia, the oppression of women, murder of anyone who does not follow the head pedophile.
Should we believe that the current resident at the White House is PRO pedophile murderers? Hmmm….
Psychologists used to blame the unpleasant characteristics of adolescence on hormones.
However, new brain imaging scans have revealed a high number of structural changes in teenagers and those in their early 20s.
Pfft! As a former teenager, the mother of a former teenager, and the grandmother of a current teenager, no amount of scientific “evidence” will convince me that teenagers are anything other than nuts!
Scientists say that at this stage of life the brain acts as sponge for learning, but the lack of impulse control may lead to risky behaviour such as drug and alcohol abuse, smoking and unprotected sex.
You can read all you want into the scientific mumbo jumbo, but the REAL reason kids are more prone to risky behavior these days, they have little to NO moral compass. Without the basics, teenagers no longer have shame. No one is telling them these behaviors are wrong. With the media pushing irresponsible behavior, and little parental guidance, the number of teens going ‘nuts’ have grown.
