They FEAR Us!

14 April 2009, 7:53 pm. 48 Comments. Filed under 1st Amendment, Moonbats & Other Animals.

Why is that the left wing moonbats (but I repeat myself) fear people who are so totally fed up, they are staging a protest?  Don’t the left have protests all the time?  Do we go sneaking around, spreading lies?  Of course not.  The HUGE difference between us, and them?  WE actually DO believe in the 1st Amendment.

The media is actually aiding in their smear campaigns, and there are the usual suspects who will be sneaking around, pretending to be from the media, trying to turn these Tea Parties into racist protests.  How utterly pathetic their lives must be, if they feel the need to attempt to deny us the very same right of free speech that they, themselves, demanded for the last 8 years.

Once again, the hypocrisy of the left shines bright.

Worker Wants Pay for Lunch During Massacre

This is just wrong.

A social services accounting clerk wants compensation for missing his lunch break on April 3 during a horrific upstate New York immigration center massacre that left 13 dead plus the gunman.James Kauchis, a government employee of the Broome County Department of Social Services, confirmed that he filed a formal complaint last week seeking the pay, according to the Binghamton Press & Sun-Bulletin.

The disgruntled accounting clerk was in his office in a nearby building when 41-year-old Jiverly Wong walked into the American Civic Association in Binghamton and opened fire with two handguns, killing 13 people and wounding four others before committing suicide.

The Department of Social Services was on lockdown for four hours to protect the 370 workers in the building, Michael Klein, director of the county’s personnel department, told the paper.

Government officials expressed embarrassment and disappointment over the filing.

“A lot of people lost a lot more that day than just one hour,” said Broome County Executive Barbara J. Fiala, adding that “99.9 percent of county employees stepped up to the plate.”

Klein reportedly denied Kauchis’ complaint because there was no violation of the union contract or of state labor laws.

During the four hours that social services employees were confined to their building, pizza and beverages were brought in by department bosses, commissioner Arthur Johnson told the newspaper.

Unbelievable.  In the midst of the carnage and while an entire town is trying to grasp the scope of this horrifying event, this person is worried about getting paid for the lunch hour he missed.  Remember, he missed his precious lunch hour because officials were trying to keep him and others safe while assessing the situation.

I guess the pizza and beverages weren’t enough for Mr. Kauchis.  And people wonder why governmental workers are mocked.
