Am I A Terrorist?
Since my laptop has major issues opening up any .pdf files, I had to toss the Mr off his computer so I could see just what this document ( Click here!) was all about, and then print it out.
Even before I got into reading, I noticed this at the bottom of the page (with the aid of a magnifying glass):

I beg your pardon? Well, ooops. Too late! It’s already quite public, so hey, I don’t see that I’m breaking any laws here. Most folks can open .pdf files on their computers, so let’s face it….y’all have been caught!
Reading through page 3 of this doc, a couple of things stand out, I mean other than the fact there is such a document to begin with!
—- (U//LES) Rightwing extremists have capitalized on the election of the first African American president, and are focusing their efforts to recruit new members, mobilize existing supporters, and broaden their scope and appeal through propoganda, but they have no yet turned to attack planning.
What a bunch of racists! The only people who bring up Obama’s skin tone are the lefties, and obviously, the DHS! I don’t care about the color of his, or anyone else’s, skin. What I, and those like me, care about are policies. Now, you may think I’m full of it, but until someone pointed it out, I wasn’t aware he considered himself black. I just thought he was an extremely dangerous “progressive” with extremely leftist ideals. Seriously, it never occured to me. Oh yeah, I noticed he was darker, but who cares? This is a non issue, and it would behove those on the left, AND the DHS to get over it.
Now, as for anyone planning attacks? Give me a bloomin’ break! We don’t want bloodshed. Contrary to those on the other side of the aisle, WE actually VALUE life. We just want our country returned to the Founders original intent, based on the Constitution of the United States.
The next to last paragraph:
(U//FOUO) The possible passage of new restrictions on firearms and the return of military veterans facing significan challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks.
How dare they! Are they saying that our brave men and women who have fought to keep us, and THEM, safe could be ‘terrorists’? As to those ‘possible new restrictions on firearms’? I wouldn’t advice any such move. We have a 2nd Amendment, part of that Constitution that we want to be reinstated as the law of the land.
Concerning ILLEGAL immigration:
(U//FOUO) DHS/I&A assesses that rightwing extremist groups’ frustration over a perceived lack of government action on illegal immigration has the potential to incite individuals or small groups toward violence. If such violence were to occur, it likely would be isolated, small-scale, and directed at specific immigration-related targets.
Perceived lack? No, it’s not ‘perceived’ at all. It’s a fact! The federal government has done little to nothing to stem the invasion of the CRIMINAL INVASION! On the contrary, there are actually so called government representatives actually COURTING the criminals. They broke our laws, they are criminals….it’s as simple as that.
If you read through this entire document, you will notice that there is not one word about the threat from radical Islamists. Not one. Yet there is condemnation of American citizens who DO see the danger.
Let’s get this perfectly clear. I do NOT hate anyone! I don’t have that much energy. I don’t care about your skin color. I don’t care where your ancestors originated, or where YOU originated for that matter. What I, and many others, are angry about is the total lack of concern for the safety of LEGAL citizens of this country. We are mad as hell that there are people in positions of power who have used our Constitution to wipe their hind ends. We are furious that our concerns are being swept under the rug, like so much dust. We are beyond angry about the out of control spending of Washington, D.C. and the elected officials blowing off any reasonable request that they vote in favor of their constituents, instead of for policies that will put our children, grandchildren, and greatgranchildren in debt for as far their eyes can see.
So, in answer to my post’s title question…..NO! I am NOT a terrorist! I am an American citizen, a wife, a mom, and a grandmother. I love my country so much, I do not want to see her destroyed.

Watch Out Waukesha!!
Waukesha police said Friday that twice-convicted sex offender Jessie Vasquez, 42, will be living at 1356 E. Moreland Blvd.
Vasquez was convicted in 1999 of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy on multiple occasions over four years. He battered the victim causing him to bleed during one incident.
In 1987, he was convicted of having sexual relations with a 7-year-old boy on multiple occasions.
Vasquez must register his address with law enforcement and be monitored through GPS for life. He is prohibited from having contact with minors or the victims, and from being in any place where there is liquor.

According to the Tax Foundation, today is Tax Freedom Day: That means Americans have worked about three and a half months of the year, from January 1 to April 13, before they have earned enough money to pay this year’s tax burden at the federal, state and local levels. Thanks in part to both President George Bush’s tax cuts and President Barack Obama’s temporary tax cuts, this year’s April 13 Tax Freedom Day is the earliest it has been since 1967. But do not celebrate yet. The Tax Foundation also identifies how long Americans would have to work to payoff each year’s budget deficit. That day does not arrive until May 29 … the latest day ever for the deficit inclusive measure.
In other words, you’re going to have to work nearly FIVE MONTHS next year to pay YOUR share of the deficit. Somehow, that just doesn’t seem right to me. You basically have a gubmint job, without all the gubmint benefits.

Organizers say they were not pleased by former president George W. Bush’s performance on spending, either, but what moved them from yelling at the TV to rallying in the streets was Obama’s proposed $3.6 trillion budget, a package the Congressional Budget Office says would produce record-breaking deficits of $9.3 trillion over 10 years.
I’ve read a great deal of moonbattery lately about how the ‘right’ was never up in arms about anything Bush did, so why now? Well, I’ll tell ya. We were up in arms, we did write to our so called representatives in D.C., expressing our concerns about the spending. They didn’t listen then either….. obviously. The left should join us in our protest of the forced spending. This is their children too that will be affected. Perhaps they prefer that their kids turn out to be mind numbed robots, punching the clock to pay the bills that are being created today?
When you get right down to it, this isn’t a left or right issue. This is about the nation, and it’s freedoms that have been whittled away by policies that are unconstitutional. We fought a war for independence from the undo burdens placed on us by England. We are now fighting a ‘war’ against the undo burdens our own government is pushing on our children.
An Oddity
At five minutes and six seconds after 4 a.m. On the 8th of July this year, the time and date will be: 04:05:06 07/08/09.
This won’t happen again for a thousand years.

Or Maybe Not
Earlier, I gave kudos to Obama for finally doing something right. Now, I’m not so sure he deserves them.

Navy officers aboard the USS Bainbridge were in the midst of a drawn-out hostage negotiation when Navy snipers saw one of the pirates aim his AK-47 machine gun at Capt. Richard Phillips’s back and concluded the American was in “imminent danger,” said Vice Adm. William E. Gortney, commander of naval forces in the Middle East. He said the Navy ship was towing the pirates’ commandeered lifeboat to calmer waters at the time, and the snipers fired on the three pirates from less than 100 feet away.

Adm. Gortney said U.S. officials had hoped to resolve the standoff peacefully, and that a fourth pirate had come aboard the Navy ship — using an inflatable boat the Bainbridge had employed to shuttle food, water and medicine to the lifeboat — as part of hostage negotiation talks. But Adm. Gortney said tensions escalated between the pirates and negotiators; the pirate on board demanded a ransom for Capt. Phillips, which the Navy refused. “It got heated and the on-scene commander interpreted hostile intent” on the lifeboat and gave the order to fire, Adm. Gortney said. The fourth pirate, now in Navy custody, will likely face criminal charges in the U.S.
I would like to believe that the POTUS would be more involved, but I have my doubts. The MSM will do anything to make Obama look good. Would they lie? Well, yes, I do believe they would.
According to U.S. officials, on Saturday the president was getting briefings on the situation either in person or on paper nearly every other hour. He decided to pursue negotiations on the advice that the pirates would likely be worn down over a period of days.
Negotiations are fine if you are dealing with rational people. Always have a plan of action!

Obama Twice Approved Plan to Rescue U.S. Sea Captain
President Obama twice authorized the military to rescue a U.S. captain held by Somali pirates and whose life appeared to be at risk.

“I am very pleased that Capt. Phillips has been rescued and is safely on board the USS Boxer,” the president said in a statement. “His safety has been our principal concern, and I know this is a welcome relief to his family and his crew.”
Obama also praised the U.S. military and the other departments and agencies for their efforts.
I’ll give Obama kudos for his approval to save the Captain’s life.
Then, there is this:
Somali pirates vow revenge over comrades’ killings
Somali pirates threatened revenge on Sunday after two separate hostage-rescue raids by foreign forces killed at least five comrades, raising fears of future bloodshed on the high seas.
The latest raid by U.S. forces on Sunday that saved an American hostage and one by France last week have upped the stakes in shipping lanes off the anarchic Horn of Africa nation where buccaneers have defied foreign naval patrols.
“The French and the Americans will regret starting this killing. We do not kill, but take only ransom. We shall do something to anyone we see as French or American from now,” Hussein, a pirate, told Reuters by satellite phone.
“We cannot know how or whether our friends on the lifeboat died, but this will not stop us from hijacking,” he said.
Now, I realize that Somalia is an extremely depressed country. There will be those who make excuses for the ‘pirate’s’ actions, I’m not one of them. I would suggest that while Mr. Obama is on a semi high from this one success, he might put it quite clearly to these, um…people, that the U.S. will NOT tolerate anymore of this behavior, and that there will be consequences. And back up the words with action.

U.S. intelligence official says American sea captain rescued from Somali pirates.
Three pirates were killed and one is in custody, the official said.
