Americans really would like to know!  Just open the records, produce the certified birth certificate (not that live birth thing), and the matter will drop.  Otherwise…..

Does the US have a REAL President — or Not?
By: J. D. Longstreet

The story continues to bubble just below the surface of the consciousness of the American electorate primarily because the Mainstream Media is so deep in the tank for Obama that they refuse to cover it. But it is there, nevertheless, and eventually it is going to break through and chances are very good that it will create chaos when it does.

The question of whether or not Obama is legally qualified to even be President of the US has never been answered. Many lawsuits have been filed in an attempt to answer the question. Many have been dismissed, for one reason or the other, but many are still in the queue waiting for a ruling and eventually that ruling will come.

The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.”

One For The Good Guys

Senate votes to allow handguns in Tennessee parks

The state Senate voted tonight to allow handgun-carry permit holders to take their firearms into every state, city and county park in Tennessee.

The bill makes it mandatory that every Tennessee state park be opened to guns carried by permit holders. City councils and county commissions could ban guns in local parks under their jurisdictions only by majority vote for each park they wish to designate as gun-free zones.

I know there will be some folks who don’t think this is such a great idea…..I don’t happen to be one of them.

Airline Mechanics Who Can’t Speak English?

18 May 2009, 12:05 pm. 2 Comments. Filed under Chris From Racine, Feckless Weasels, Travel.

I can’t believe this is happening…

The U.S. government has for decades licensed airline mechanics that are unable to read manuals for the sophisticated aircraft they work on or document repairs on a mandatory log because they can’t even speak English.

The scandal has been exposed by a Texas news station that conducted an in-depth investigation on how the Federal Aviation Administration licenses mechanics. The multiple-part series is scary enough to ground even the bravest of frequent flyers.

It turns out that the agency in charge of aviation safety actually compromises it by allowing severely unqualified individuals to repair planes nationwide. The issue gained worldwide attention when investigators found that cables incorrectly connected by incompetent mechanics caused a plane to crash during takeoff in North Carolina, killing 29.

Repairing airplanes is complicated and requires mechanics to consult books that lay out various processes step by step. The mechanic is then required to list every action taken so that the next mechanic knows exactly what has been done. Because the international language of aviation is English, if the mechanic can’t read or speak the language, he can’t read the manual or record his activities.

One frustrated FAA mechanic who works at a Texas aircraft repair station says he has colleagues who “don’t have a clue” how to read a maintenance manual because they don’t know English. The news investigation discovered that an FAA licensing center in San Antonio actually tested mechanics in Spanish even though the real deal requires fluent English.

Since the shameful results of the news probe were made public, the FAA now admits 1,300 mechanics’ credentials may be in question because they got certified at FAA-approved centers that conducted improper tests or they were not required to speak and read English, which is considered the most basic requirement for U.S. certification.

This simply marks the latest of several safety scandals at the FAA in recent years. In 2008 two FAA inspectors testified before a House Transportation Committee that they were threatened with dismissal after reporting a major U.S. airline’s serious safety violations to agency supervisors who had cozy relationships with the carriers.

A few years ago a congressional investigation blasted the FAA’s claims of drastically improved air safety, exposing record amounts of runway incursions at major airports around the nation. Investigators found that runway safety gains achieved earlier this decade have been eroded by overworked controllers and lack of leadership at the FAA.

Are they kidding?  There are people out there who are licensed to work on our aircraft, and they can’t even read the manuals??  They can’t document the work done??  How in the world is this allowed to happen?  How in God’s name are they “qualified” to do repairs when they can’t read or write English which, according to the article, is the international language of aviation.

Until this is sorted out, I will seriously reconsider any flights that I may be taking in the near future.  Unbelievable.

Just a Few Observations

I suppose if you wanted a good deal on a vehicle, you could go to your Chrysler dealer, but in my mind, that would be like buying a a coat without sleaves.

I’m not sure why Republicans are all excited in Shelby County.  That’s probably the bluest area in the state, and the odds are, it’s gonna be even bluer in 2010.

“Except from crabby Republicans, these astonishing numbers have received little attention — a tribute to Obama’s Zen-like capacity to discourage serious criticism. Everyone’s fixated on the present economic crisis, which explains and justifies big deficits (lost revenue, anti-recession spending) for a few years. Hardly anyone notes that huge deficits continue indefinitely.”

Sorry, Jesus just doesn’t make personal appearances on grilled cheese sandwiches, splashes of anti-freeze, or cheetos!

Big shocker….Obama lies.  Pfft!

The Girls Scouts aren’t the same as when I was a young sprout, and I don’t believe this is a good thing!

Always use caution on any ‘social network’!  But if you use them, for the love of pete, don’t be yapping about sensitive information!

With the Supreme Court’s decision, I reckon these folks got their collective hind ends handed to them, at least, I sure hope so.

HIV stats in Illinois mens prisons are higher than out in the real world cuz of tats.  For women in prison, the risk comes from sex.  Ok, who are the women having intercourse with?  Thought it was a women’s prison.  :?

So, Nancy finally shut her yap after stepping in it big time.  That’s kind of like closing the barn door after the cows are out in the pasture.  Too little, too late.  We already know she’s mentally unstable.  Two words…..TERM LIMITS!

Tata, Land Rover and Jaguar are family?  Didn’t know that.  Either way, seems the British gubmint wants a LARGE piece of the pie, and IMHO, that just ain’t right.

What is it with Catholic universities giving honors to pro-baby murderers?  First the Obummer, then Bloomie?

If you are looking for a new puppy, or even a grown dog, now would be a good time to contact these folks!  I’ll never understand how anyone could abuse an animal of any breed, but what people do to dogs just angers me to no end!  Animal dump offs are a big problem around here.  If you don’t want the dog, if you aren’t capable of being a good ‘mom’ or ‘dad’, don’t get the freakin’ animal!  Spay and neuter if you don’t want puppies, or kittens!  Jeeeeez!  Yeah….I get a tad riled on a few topics….this being one of them.

A two state solution, is no solution!  Hopefully, common sense, and an eye on history, will prevail.

There’s no doubt in my mind that today’s “entertainment” sees men as useless slugs.  Ever notice how many commercials, sitcoms, and some movies make the ‘dad’ look like a complete blithering idiot?  Gone are the days of father figures of Father Knows Best, Make Room For Daddy, and Leave It To Beaver.  Now, we’re stuck with some of the most stupid characters, and we laugh.  Well, I don’t because I don’t watch them, for just that reason.  Is this a case of life immitating art, or art immitating life?  Maybe it’s a bit of both.

Did anyone really expect him to say “yeah….I did it….so what?”  The bozo’s arrogance is enough to convict him….for being a jackass.  I know, ‘innocent until proven guilty’, but if nothing else, he should do time for making the rest of the country suffer through his antics!

Socializing Medicine

Socialized Medicine in the United States!
“Americans Sicker and Broker than Ever!”
By J. D. Longstreet
**********************************************

So the big push has begun! The big push for socialized medicine in the United States. Altho, there is little funny about this boondoggle, it is sorta funny to watch the socialists in the US government, including the Obama Administration, tie themselves into knots to avoid using the words “socialized” and “medicine” in the same paragraph, let alone the same sentence. Nevertheless, that is exactly what they are proposing… socialized medicine. And again, I expect ignorance to overcome logic and sound reasoning as the government shoves socialized medicine down the throats of American citizens and, in so doing, bring about the collapse of the best healthcare system in the world.

If you are one of those who actually think they are doing this because they care about you, you really need to see a shrink about your mental health, I mean your “delusions.”

America is about to experience something we have never had before in our history. Rationing of healthcare. There is simply no escaping it. Costs of healthcare will have to be brought to heel by the Obama administration and there is only one way to do that… and that is to ration it. In other words you will be placed on a waiting list and your ailment will be treated whenever they get to you, in a couple of weeks, a couple of months, or a couple of years, or maybe never. If you don’t get the care you require and you die, so much the better. That is the other way of bringing healthcare costs down.”

Twelve-year-old Lexxi Saal recently wrote and recorded an original song “Thank You.” She has dedicated it to all of the men and women in the Armed Forces. She is hoping to have as many soldiers and their families hear it by Memorial Day as possible.

Lexxi said, “Memorial Day is much more than a day off at the beach…The soldiers don’t get a day off. They are making endless sacrifices everyday to keep us all safe…I want to inspire everyone to take a moment and really give the thanks the deserve.”

Our Salvation, and Survival

Christians unwelcome here

As the West continues to reach out to the Muslim world with a message of tolerance, some Muslim communities are growing increasingly intolerant toward people of other faiths. A case in point is Iraq, where Christians are being chased out of their homeland.

I’m fairly sure this situation isn’t one of those that Bush considered either, before he committed us to a war there. It seems that the Western world is always underestimating the hatred Muslims have for anyone who is not a follower of Mohammad.

New research reported by Associated Press indicates that the number of Christians in Iraq has fallen to between half and one-third of the estimated population of 1.4 million before the first Gulf War. Christians have been fleeing the country after being targeted in sectarian attacks, and most find the general climate increasingly less accommodating. After a series of particularly violent anti-Christian attacks in Mosul last October, leaders of the Catholic Chaldean church and other Christian denominations wrote a protest letter stating that “it seems that Iraq is one step closer to becoming an Islamic state intolerant to non-Muslims.”

Does this indicate a “religion of peace” as both Bush consistently told us? As Obama is now trying convince us? We should chat with these types? I don’t bloody well think so.

During his recent tour of the Middle East, the pope denounced the “ideological manipulation of religion” and called for reconciliation between the various faiths. However, as the West promises, promotes and pleads for diversity, as national leaders travel to the Middle East to offer apologies and seek conciliation and fair play, the region answers them with faith-based apartheid. This is an issue President Obama cannot afford to ignore in his June 4 address to the Muslim world.

I’m afraid this isn’t the “ideological manipulation of religion”! This is the religion itself! The words of their holy book(s), supposedly dictated to Mohammad by Allah, insists that other religions should not be tolerated, to fight to the death those who will not convert.

Personally, I’ve had enough “diversity” to last a lifetime.  I’ve not forgotten my mom’s family, many of who were murdered by Muslims.  I’ve not forgotten the Embassies that were bombed.  I’ve not forgotten the U.S.S. Cole.  I’ve not forgotten the bombing of the Trade Center in 1993, nor have I forgotten as I watched them collapsing in a pile of rubble, murdering people from around the world.   I have not forgotten the thousands of young men and women who have fought and died in an attempt to stop the spread of such evil.

Unless, or until, someone is willing to stand up and call a spade a spade, it won’t matter what B. Hussein Obama says in his little talk to the Arab world. Then, to read something like this, does not give me confidence that we’ll be able to restrict the invasion from within.

Biden Reveals Location of Secret VP Bunker

Vice President Joe Biden, well-known for his verbal gaffes, may have finally outdone himself, divulging potentially classified information meant to save the life of a sitting vice president.

According to a report, while recently attending the Gridiron Club dinner in Washington, an annual event where powerful politicians and media elite get a chance to cozy up to one another, Biden told his dinnermates about the existence of a secret bunker under the old U.S. Naval Observatory, which is now the home of the vice president.

The bunker is believed to be the secure, undisclosed location former Vice President Dick Cheney remained under protection in secret after the 9/11 attacks.

Eleanor Clift, Newsweek magazine’s Washington contributing editor, said Biden revealed the location while filling in for President Obama at the dinner, who, along with Grover Cleveland, is the only president to skip the gathering.

I’m wondering if B. Hussein is kicking himself in the hind end for skipping this dinner, or if it was calculated, hoping that Biden would, once again, stick his foot in his mouth?  Of all the people he could have chosen as his running mate, did he have to pick the least competent?  This is the guy who would step in if anything should happen to the TOTUS/POTUS?  Jiminy crickets!  Think Obama is incompetent in the top job?  Just imagine this clown in the Oval Office.

Port Officials Use DHS Anti-Terror Cameras to Stop Golf Ball Bombardment

Golf balls are bombarding the Port of Everett and anti-terrorism cameras are being trained on a residential neighborhood to hunt down the source.

Port officials believe someone on Rucker Hill is whacking golf balls down the hill onto port property, endangering dozens of workers and millions of dollars worth of equipment and cargo.

Ok, this is probably not a good idea.  Putting folks in danger isn’t exactly very bright.

“We’re trying to use any means possible to stop it, aside from posting somebody in the field of fire all day and night,” said Ed Madura, a port security official.

The port says the flying golf balls constitute a threat to personal safety. Pointing video surveillance cameras toward the likely source is an appropriate use of the equipment, port officials say.

In the eyes of at least one resident in the Rucker Hill neighborhood southwest of downtown, swiveling the cameras from the fence line to the neighborhood is an invasion of privacy.

Now, if they are turning the cameras on a private residence, I have issues.  If they are watching the port, this is probably a good idea, considering the crap going on.

“Hitting golf balls is a problem, but if they turn their cameras up on the neighborhood and spy on us, that’s a bigger problem,” said David Mascarenas, a neighborhood watchdog who has for years fought the port to improve the community’s access to public land.

The cameras were paid for, along with fencing and other security equipment, with $2.3 million in grants from the Department of Homeland Security following the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

Now, I know that we need security on our ports, but why aren’t they spending money on our borders? I’d say odds are, there is a LOT more to worry about coming across the border, especially the SOUTHERN one, than there is in the ports right now. Actually, BOTH are extremely important, but I’d like to see the invasion stopped.

Before the attacks, the Everett port had open terminals and only minimal security. People who live in the surrounding neighborhoods often would walk down and drop crab pots off piers that are now blocked by tall cyclone fences topped with razor wire.

Let me get this straight…..all this security, paid for by the taxpayers, is preventing those same taxpayers from making use of their own waters? Oh wait a minute….I forgot….we don’t have any right to the water anymore, and if Feingold gets his way, we won’t have any right to the puddles in our own front yards from a rain storm. Hmmm….

“It’s been going on for a while, but it’s been getting a lot worse the last couple of days,” port spokeswoman Lisa Lefeber said.

I guess the folks are getting more pissed off, OR….someone is a really crappy golfer and is trying to improve their swing by aiming at the cameras?
