Obama to Iran: Let Them Eat Ice Cream
by Ann Coulter

On Iran, President Obama is worse than Hamlet. He’s Colin Powell, waiting to see who wins before picking a side.

Last week, massive protests roiled Iran in response to an apparently fraudulent presidential election, in which nutcase Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was declared the winner within two hours of the polls closing. (ACORN must be involved.)

Obama responded by boldly declaring that the difference between the loon Ahmadinejad and his reformist challenger, Mir Hossein Mousavi, “may not be as great as advertised.”

Thinking…

…and yes, occasionally, it does give me a brain cramp.  I am trying to define conservatism, at least my brand of conservatism, in no specific order.

Pro-life – protecting the unborn.

Pro-military – they do a tough job, and whether or not you agree with what they are doing, ALWAYS respect the uniform they CHOOSE to wear.

Small government – the U.S. Constitution lays out exactly the role the federal government, and a lot of what we’ve seen in recent years coming out of D.C. are in no way, shape or form, laid out in that document.

The Bill of Rights – 10 simple rules that say quite plainly what it means, and that includes the 2nd which insures the 1st.

Welfare – one of the biggest drains on recources in this country.  A hand up…..NOT a hand out!

Marriage – one man….one woman.  That’s it!

Affirmative action – make it go away!  “Content of character” anyone?  The majority of conservatives don’t really look at color, we’ve moved past that.  Isn’t it time for the left to stop believing that people can’t make it on their own merit?

Unions – another thing that needs to go away!  At one time, there might have been a need for such organizations, but no longer.  We have laws in place that protect employees.  They have become nothing more than a push towards fascism.

Borders – secure them…..NOW!  NO amnesty for a bunch of criminals who snuck in the backdoor, no jobs, no education, no medical care……NADA!

Taxes – enough already!  If you want a reasonable tax system, how about 10%….on EVERYONE’S income.  You make $10, you pay $1.  You make $1,000,000, you pay$100,000.  Not enough?  Ok, make it 15%.  The system we have right now is beyond ridiculous!

Ok, what am I forgetting?  I know there are a lot of things….help me out here!

Don’t Forget!

I don’t hate my country.  On the contrary….I love my country!  The country that I grew up in, the country that was founded on the principles of common sense.  As it stands right now….I hate my government.  And I don’t hate, anything or anyone.

I’d like to say the Barack Hussein Obama was a moron.  I’d like to, but I can’t.  I see him as quite intelligent in some ways.  Problem is, he’s not all that bright in the area of common sense.   An educated idiot.  A good leader would listen to the people.  This one isn’t even aware that we are still out here, in the real world.  His minions are even worse.  He’s got this guy, Rahm Emmanuel, who I tend to think of as evil….pure evil.  “Never let a good crisis go to waste.”  Actually, I am of the mind they are actually CREATING one crisis after another.  Were things rocky before The ONE took office?  Yeah….it was, but with common sense, things would have straightened themselves out.  Now, we’re looking at a national deficit that is MORE than any president…..COMBINED.  I don’t want to hear dick about Bush.  He made some major mistakes with the first TARP nonsense, which, if you remember correctly, WE said NO to, but what has come after is beyond rational thinking.

Obama Says It’s ‘Not Logical’ to Fear Government-Run Health Care

At a White House press conference on Tuesday, Obama said: “Why would it drive private insurance out of business? If private insurers say that the marketplace provides the best quality health care; if they tell us that they’re offering a good deal, then why is it that the government, which they say can’t run anything, suddenly is going to drive them out of business? That’s not logical.”

Obama also said there would be “some healthy debate in Congress” about how the “public option” plan would be implemented.

Is he flippin’ kidding?  It shouldn’t even be up for debate of any kind, healthy or otherwise!  Health care is NOT the business of the government.  Our so called representatives have their duties outlined, quite clearly, in the U.S. Constitution.  I have never read anywhere that it states that a bunch of freakin’ politicians have the right to get into the insurance business, of ANY kind.

What is “not logical”, Mr Poser, is a government that has taken that Constitution and used it to wipe it’s collective, sorry ass!

Today is the official date of my dad’s death.  That’s what is on his death certificate.  That’s what they put on his gravestone.  He actually died around 10pm on the 23rd, so this has been a sore spot for me for 28 years.

It’s really hard to believe it’s been that long.  It’s also hard to believe that, had he lived, he’d be 102.  Yikes!  Yes, he was 80 when they adopted me.  :D  Ok, maybe not, but he sure wasn’t a spring chicken.  :?  It always bugged me that ‘friends’ would ask me why we lived with my grandparents.  Morons!

Thinking about my dad, and the type of person he was, I have a feeling he’s doing some major spinning right now.  If there is a massive breeze going on in Dallas, near North Park, you can rest assured….that’s my dad, along with his brothers….pissed as all get out!

He worked hard all his life, and the idea of the country he loved so much, that he nearly gave his life for, has turned out to be what he, and so many millions of his generation, fought against.

Sometimes Even I Don’t Have Words

Why am I not suprised that this takes place in San Francisco?

A county prosecutor running for California attorney general operates a program that allows illegal immigrant drug offenders to avoid prison by completing work training that prepares them for jobs they cannot legally hold.

San Francisco County prosecutor Kamala Harris wants to be the top law enforcer in the nation’s most populous state yet she knowingly permits deportable illegal alien felons to clear their criminal records by participating in the taxpayer-funded job training. A prosecutor for nearly two decades, Harris justifies the outrageous arrangement by saying that it’s not the duty of local authorities to enforce federal immigration laws.

The story was first reported by a major southern California newspaper that highlighted an appalling example in its report; an illegal immigrant who violently assaulted a woman months after pleading guilty to a drug felony. The illegal alien avoided prison thanks to the San Francisco County prosecutor’s job program (Back on Track), which is billed as an innovative education and employment reentry initiative to keep narcotics offenders from cycling in and out of jail.

Harris, the first female District Attorney in San Francisco’s history, proudly touts Back on Track as a valuable measure that increases neighborhood safety and helps young offenders turn their lives around by preventing them from committing crimes. This is supposedly accomplished with strict accountability and close supervision with education, employment support and health care.

First elected as San Francisco County prosecutor in 2003 and easily reelected in 2007, Harris portrays herself as a tough no-nonsense career prosecutor on her official attorney general campaign website. It brags that, under her leadership, the felony conviction rate is the highest in more than a decade and that there has been an increase of 50% in the amount of violent offenders sent to state prison.

While these statistics may be difficult to confirm, one thing is for certain; officials in San Francisco, the first major U.S. city to offer illegal immigrants municipal identification cards, have a long history of protecting even the most violent criminals from deportation. Its sanctuary policy came under fire last year after a pair of incidents involving previously convicted illegal immigrant felons received national attention.

In the first a Salvadoran gang member, previously convicted of two felonies, brutally murdered a father and his two sons within city limits. Besides serving jail time and numerous law enforcement encounters, the violent illegal alien was never reported to federal immigration authorities for deportation.

Weeks later a different illegal immigrant gang banger, also protected from deportation after several felony convictions, got arrested for violently stabbing a man. Authorities called it an “especially vicious” crime because the victim was “gutted” like a “pig.”

I can only conclude that this woman has truly lost her mind. As has most of San Francisco.
Hey Ol’ Broad, ya got that picture of my head exploding? Good Grief!!
