Today you were scammed by the House of Representatives, and despite the fact that you shut down the phones of virtually every Representative in the nation, they ignored you and voted for another bill which they haven’t even read. HR 2454 The American Clean Energy & Security Act (Previously named CAP & TRADE)
passed, with the assistance of eight Republican votes. The House added 300 pages today, none of them have read it, and they still voted for it. How much abuse will will we take from politicians that don’t care about us any longer?
So, the question is, what are you willing to do about it? We have watched in awe as Iranians have taken to the streets of their nation to protest a corrupt and abusive government. Do we have what it takes to stand up to our own government and tell them that we won’t take it anymore? Do we have the genes passed to us by our forefathers, who risked their lives to preserve their freedom? What do you want to do? Many are suggesting that we take to the streets now…immediately, around the country…at every Federal courthouse, in every city. Are you willing? Are you ready? Is it time to say NO MORE????!!!!! Please let us know ASAP what you want to do. Do you want to take to the streets right now? It’s Friday night across the country, and a good time to hit the streets if you want to express yourselves. Do we want to do it tomorrow? Many Patriots are angry and demanding immediate action. This is a true grass roots movement and we aren’t going without you. Is it time to light a grass fire and hit the streets tonight or tomorrow? Congressman Flake Opposes Cap and Trade Bill
Bill Is More About Generating Revenue than Climate Change
Washington, D.C., Jun 26 - Republican Congressman Jeff Flake, who represents Arizona’s Sixth District, today criticized House Democrats for bringing a cap and trade bill to the House floor.
“The last thing a fragile economy needs is a new energy tax, yet that’s essentially what this cap and trade bill is,” said Flake. “This bill is more about generating revenue for the federal government than it is about addressing climate change.”
Unfortunately, Congressman Flake was unable to vote on the bill due to a family obligation. Had he been able to vote today, he would have voted against it. Unless the bill is changed substantially, Congressman Flake will vote against the cap and trade conference report when it comes back to the House.
I was wondering about this.

HEY! You people in the district where we use to live! Yeah…you….in the 6th Congressional District….Tom Petri‘s district! You remember him, don’t you? The guy who never has any competition because no one can ever raise enough money to challenge him? Well, he’s on the fence. On the Crap & Tax Bill!
You better get on the horn, fax machines, and email programs….and let him know he has done enough damage, and if he doesn’t want a “D” behind his name, he better get with the program, and start listening to those he is SUPPOSE to represent. Heaven knows….he never listened to me. 
I gotta tell ya….anyone who claims that “R” behind their names, and votes for this piece of garbage, better start packing their bags, cuz they are heading home!

The government has just done what bootleggers (and “would-be” bootleggers) all over the North American continent have been praying for. They have all but outlawed smoking. Well they HAVE outlawed smoking any tobacco product worth a damn. That is to say – any tobacco product with enough nicotine in it to produce that tiny little squirt of glucose and shoot it into one’s blood stream. That little squirt then tells the brain to release endorphins, or whatever it is the brain releases to make one feel better, to calm one down, to take the edge off an appetite, and to generally make life worth living for a hour or so more. But our socialist friends, in our socialist government, cannot stand it when the “proletariat” feels good, therefore, the ban on cigarettes (On ANY Tobacco Product) with enough nicotine to calm the nerves of the masses had to be banished! Like parents yelling at their kids: “STOP HAVING FUN!” We have told you over and over socialist believe in everybody suffering equally! Are you beginning to get the picture?
Let’s face it. This country is completely the opposite of any semblance it was once, from the founding up until a few decades ago. How did this happen? We no longer have control over our representatives. They have decided, for whatever reason, the U.S. Constitution no longer applies to them, and they can do whatever the hell they want. Is this what we expected?
Well, some of us knew it was coming. Those of you who voted in the likes of Barack Hussein Obama and Nancy Pelosi…..how’s that working out for you, eh? Is this what you were wanting? I remember all the bitching and moaning about the Patriot Act. How bad it was, invading your privacy. Well, guess what! You no longer HAVE any privacy. You are no longer free to make your own decisions. You are no longer the parent to your children. You are now a slave to the over bloated federal government. What are you going to do about it?
We’ve talked, we’ve protested, while you have sat on the sidelines, singing the praises of socialism. You have NO idea what your dreams of ‘spreading the wealth’ really means. It does not mean you’ll have a job as a garbage collector earning the same amount of money that a plastic surgeon will be getting. It means, odds are, you won’t have a job at all. And that plastic surgeon? Well, since ObamaCare will take care of most doctors fees, there will be fewer and fewer doctors, nurses, and even techs to take care of you, but Nancy will still be getting her botox, and will be paying her doctor with your hard earned money, that you’ll no longer be getting because it’s all gone to Washington, D.C. What? You mean you thought you’d share that wealth? Get serious! Ever been to a third world country? THAT is what you’ll be getting. Crumbs from the Obama Regime’s table.
I repeat….how that hope and change working out for ya there skippy?

A Sad Day In The WI Blogging World

Badger Blog Alliance has closed up shop.
It was my first actual blogging experience, starting in April, 2005.
This was my favorite post over there in five years of blogging. Good times. Good times.
But, as time went on, too many of us wanted to do different things in different places. So that’ll be that. It was great.
When I first started bloggin up in Wisconsin, I went to BBA cook out thingy, just for a few minutes. Met some terrific folks. Really sorry to see it shut down, but I guess folks are definitely heading in different directions now. Moved off to other places, working hard on their own blogs, etc.
I wish them all the best life has to offer in whatever their future endevours may take them!

The ridiculous provisions in the budget with respect to ILLEGAL immigrants has made the Judicial Watch Corruption Chronicals…
As part of an innovative new budget plan, Wisconsin legislators are on the verge of passing laws granting illegal immigrants special driver’s licenses and discounted tuition at the state’s public colleges and universities.
The Badger State’s soon-to-be approved 2009-2011 budget bills also include a measure that requires local police departments to document the race of people they pull over to determine if racial profiling is occurring.
With at least three official illegal alien sanctuaries—Madison, Racine and Dane County—Wisconsin has a history of protecting and accommodating residents who are not in the U.S. legally. In fact, a few years ago the state’s housing authority launched a first-in-the-nation program to help illegal immigrants get home mortgages.
For decades illegal immigrants were able to obtain driver’s licenses in Wisconsin but in 2005 legislators rescinded the perk in response to a federal law (Real ID Act) requiring states to verify the authenticity of every driver’s license applicant by 2011. The new verification process forces states to require that documents, such as a birth certificate or passport, submitted to get the card are legitimate and that the applicant is in the United States legally
Wisconsin will become the nation’s second state (Utah was the first) to offer illegal immigrants, who won’t meet the new federal security standards, special driver’s licenses. It will join a handful of states—including Texas, California, Maryland and New York—in offering illegal immigrants discounted tuition at public colleges.

My priority has been, and will always be, creating jobs and providing core services in the most efficient way
possible.”A Registered Nurse and Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Leah Vukmir was first elected to the State Assembly in 2002 and has been reelected three times. In 2008, she received 62% of the vote. In the current session, Vukmir is the Ranking Member on the Assembly Committee on Health and Health Care Reform. She is recognized by her colleagues as a leading advocate for taxpayers. Vukmir holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marquette University and a Master of Science in Nursing from UW-Madison. The 5th Senate District is comprised of portions of the cities of Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, West Allis and Brookfield and the villages of West Milwaukee and Elm Grove.

A Slow Day in Texas
It is a slow day in the East Texas town of Madisonville. It is raining, and the little town looks totally deserted. Times are tough, everybody is in debt and everybody lives on credit.
On this particular day a rich tourist from the East is driving through town. He enters the only hotel in the sleepy town and lays a hundred dollar bill on the desk stating he wants to inspect the rooms upstairs in order to pick one to spend the night.
As soon as the man walks up the stairs, the hotel proprietor takes the hundred dollar bill and runs next door to pay his debt to the butcher.
The butcher takes the $100 and runs down the street to pay his debt to the pig farmer.
The pig farmer then takes the $100 and heads off to pay his debt to the supplier of feed and fuel.
The guy at the Farmer’s Co-op takes the $100 and runs to pay his debt to the local prostitute, who has also been facing hard times and has lately had to offer her “services” on credit.
The hooker runs to the hotel and pays off her debt with the $100 to the hotel proprietor, paying for the rooms that she had rented when she brought clients to that establishment.
The hotel proprietor then lays the $100 bill back on the counter so the rich traveler will not suspect anything. At that moment the traveler from the East walks back down the stairs, after inspecting the rooms. He picks up the $100 bill and states that the rooms are not satisfactory…… Pockets the money and walks out the door and leaves town.
No one earned anything. However the whole town is now out of debt, and looks to the future with a lot of optimism.
That, ladies and gentlemen, is how the United States Government is conducting business today.
If that doesn’t scare the hell out of you, then I don’t know what will.
