]]> By: HeatherRadish http://olbroad.com/2009/07/01/letter-from-a-grandpa/comment-page-1/#comment-16832 HeatherRadish Thu, 02 Jul 2009 12:34:36 +0000 http://olbroad.com/?p=20837#comment-16832 The spoiled middle-class brats like Ashley might figure it out, eventually, maybe.  I doubt she learned much from the letter, she probably went on Facebook and bitched about Grandpa being a greedy bastard Republican asshole and got three dozen "likes" from her friends.  When she leaves college and can't find a job, maybe it sinks in.  Or maybe she joins the Obamacorps and get all her physical needs provided for and her student loans forgiven (did you see that news? now if you borrow for fancy private college and end up working at Olive Garden after graduation, the feds won't ask for it all back), leaving her free to spend her stipend on clothes and partying.   The folks who have always gotten monthly checks from the government aren't in any danger of getting their income "shrunk by volumes" soon--especially when crap-n-trade direct-deposits tax dollars in their bank accounts.   And when crap-n-trade quadruples the cost of electricity and doubles the cost of food, the foundation has already been set to blame "greedy corporations" instead of Congress and Obama.   Sorry to be all gloom and doom, but I think it's too late.
