Palin Resigns
Palin Quits as Alaska Governor
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin shocked the political word Friday afternoon by announcing that she will step down at the end of the month and transfer power to Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell — a move that throws into doubt her political future and a potential run for president in 2012.
Palin, last year’s Republican vice presidential nominee, made the surprise announcement from her home in Wasilla, flanked by her husband, Todd, and family and state commissioners.
“I never believed that I nor anyone else needs a title to do this, to make a difference,” she said. “I’m determined to take the right path for Alaska, even though it is unconventional and it’s not so comfortable.”
Parnell will be inaugurated at the governor’s picnic in Fairbanks at the end of the month, Palin said.
Well, to be perfectly honest, I don’t blame her, it is quite surprising. Although she is one tough lady, who needs the garbage the left keep shoving out? I think she’s been quite a class act, all while the low class has been slamming her, and her family.
Would I support her candidacy for POTUS in 2012? Seriously, I don’t know. At this point in time, she’s about the most conservative, but then, it’s early yet, and I’d very much like to concentrate on 2010, and getting that piece of crap Speaker a one way ticket back to La La Land, with a whole slew of her cronies.

Note, the website is in danger of crashing due to the flood of readers and supporters signing up to show their interest in a Palin Candidacy. The GOP establishment had better watch out, Sarah Palin and Ron Paul combined with the power of the internet will remove the stranglehold of GOP special interests and the elites who have brought the party to its knees in defeat in the 2008 elections.
Now she can go 24/7 at fundraising. She will need a ton of money to go against Obama. Everyone pretty much knew she would run but not in 2012. For the most part you get one shot and her taking it in 2012 is a little odd. I thought the GOP would concede 2012 much like they did with Bob Dole. I wonder if she did this with their blessing. If she is not looking at a 2012 run then I really have no idea what she is thinking. If she isn’t in office she runs the risk of being “forgotten” and some other rising star in the GOP.
Why should conservatives, the back bone of this country, “concede”? Obama is the worst thing to ever happen to this country, and more and more people are starting to wake up to this fact!
8 months in and Obama is the worst thing that has ever happened to this country?
Not slavery?
Not the Trail of Tears?
Not the Japanese Camps of WW2?
Not Nixon’s resigning?
Not the Chicago Cubs?
Not the loss of American lives in WW1,WW2,Vietnam,Korea…?
Not that 60% of bankruptcies are caused by medical bills.
Not ranking 17th in the world in literacy rates?
Not Pearl Harbor?
Not the Great Depression?
Not September 11th?
I suggest you take a step back, take a breath and think bfore typing. Just a suggestion.
Conservatives are the backbone of this country? That is just an opinion on your part not a fact.
In six months, Obama has done more to destroy this country than any of those you listed, including the Cubs. So, yes, he is THE WORST thing to ever happen to this country. We survived some ugly periods in history, unless he is stopped, we will not survive as a nation. No, it’s not just my opinion. That comes from people much wiser than either you or I.
