Posting Light?

Well, maybe!  Jr and I are going to be heading to Texas tomorrow….family stuff.  Even though I’ll be taking the laptop with me….big shocker there, eh?…..odds are, I won’t be sitting in front of the silly thing on a regular basis.  Naturally, I won’t be posting diddly while I’m driving.  DUH!  I might not be the brightest bulb in the box, but even I won’t do that….and I even have the hookups in my new truck to do just that.  Don’t ask me why….just one of those things they stuck in there, and I’m not going to find out how, or why.  :?

And, for anyone…..CHRIS….who is gonna worry about me driving so soon after surgery, I will be taking it slow and easy.  If I get tired, I’ll be stopping.  If it takes us 4 days to go a little over 600 miles, so be it!  :P  Although, I kind of doubt it will, you never know, right?  First stop….my sister’s zoo.  Then on to spend time with Brat, Ick, and Short Person.  This should be interesting.  :D

One of the many terrific things about living out in the middle of nowhere…..we can set off fireworks, and ya don’t have the newbie cop riding around on the his little bicycle with the training wheels threatening bodily harm.  Heh.  Yeah….had that happen up there in Waupun.  Threatened to take away our little non offensive fireworks, and got resoundingly tongue thrashed.  :D

So, the Mr, Jr and I were out in the drive between the house and the man cave, watching cool things go up, whistling and booming.  We heard a lot of fireworks going off in the distance, and the thunder joined in the racket.  We’ve been needing rain, but it could have held off till I was finished looking up.  Nothing like rain drops hitting the eyeballs!  sigh…

Hope everyone had a great 4th and did their share of praying for our nation!  We surely do need it!

Rape suspect arrested in Texas

A man suspected of raping two Nashville women was arrested Friday in Texas City, Texas hiding in his sister’s attic.

Mauricio Morales, 32, was wanted on charges of aggravated rape, aggravated burglary and child abuse dating back to a June 2008 incident on Antioch Pike where police say Morales allegedly broke into a 32-year-old woman’s home while she slept. He’s also suspected of raping a 49-year-old woman in January, according to Metro Police.

Police found Morales hiding in his sister’s attic while his car was stored in her garage. He will be extradited back to Nashville in the next several days.

Texas City, eh?  In an attic?  I’m thinking he didn’t spend all his time up in that attic, otherwise, he’d have been a puddle.  Why the hell didn’t he expire living up there?  And I’d like to know what kind woman his sister is that she’d actually hide a piece of crap like that!  I don’t care if it is her brother!  Rape?  Child abuse?

To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world.
