Is anyone else as sick as I am of this little turd who is bound and determined to stay in the spotlight?
ANCHORAGE, Alaska – The former fiance of Gov. Sarah Palin’s 18-year-old daughter says he thinks he knows why the Alaska governor is resigning — concerns over money.
Levi Johnston, 19, whose wedding to Bristol Palin was called off earlier this year, says he believes the governor is resigning over personal finances.
Johnston says he lived with the Palin family from early December to the second week in January. He claims he heard the governor several times say how nice it would be to take advantage of the lucrative deals that were being offered, including a reality show and a book.
“I think the big deal was the book. That was millions of dollars,” said Johnston, who has had a strained relationship with the family but now says things have improved.
Palin has a book deal, but compensation details haven’t been disclosed. The governor has said she is facing more than $500,000 in legal fees.
“It is interesting to learn Levi is working on a piece of fiction while honing his acting skills,” Palin family spokeswoman Meghan Stapleton said in an e-mail to The Associated Press.
Johnston made his comments at a news conference Thursday at the office of his attorney, Rex Butler.
Johnston came forward, Butler said, because Alaskans want to know why Palin has decided to resign. She made the announcement last Friday.
Johnston also is pursuing his own book deal. He is working as a carpenter while also pursuing a movie deal.
A book deal? A movie deal? About what?? Who is he and what has he done? It is so patently obvious that this guy is desperately trying to stay in the limelight. He wants to cash in on the fact that he is the jilted fiancee of Bristol Palin. It seems to me that any time any member of the Palin family talks, he has his “insight” to add.
It really is quite pathetic. Please, just go away.
Ya know what amazes me? Not that some little dweeb is trying to cash in on his 5 minutes of fame from the past, but that seasoned reporters are actually paying attention to him. Why would he need a lawyer with him at a press conference…..for what? To tell the world…”I’m little sheet, LOOK AT ME!” Jeeeez!
Why? Because it’s Sarah Palin, and the press LOVES to hate her. Any little nugget they can get, even from this yahoo, is cause for celebration.
Criminy! The media is a sad shadow of it’s former self. Hell, they aren’t even real journalists anymore…..more like World Weekly News and their coverage of the Batboy!

And how does that take away from the fact that this little twirp is cashing in on his 15 minutes of fame, which was the point of this post. No retraction forthcoming. I still think he is an attention whore…a book? Movie? About what – his time with the Palins? Tell me that isn’t cashing in…

But I find your comment really ironic considering you still are going on about the birth certificate thing. Even most other conservatives is letting that bit of paranoid thinking go.
What cover ups? All of the ethics complaints have been dismissed, and even the FBI has dismissed the rumors…so what cover ups are you talking about???
And BTW – the ethics complaints have cost the state of Alaska a pretty penny along with the Palins. Which is one of the reasons she resigned…way too much time and state money fighting off bogus allegations.
Poppycock! She said so herself that it was to follow the money. She is just trying to peddle herself until everyone catches on to her antics. Unfortunately, there will be people that will believe in her even if they saw her with Old Nick himself.
The point of my post, lest you’ve forgetten, was that Levi is cashing in on his time with the Palins. He’s a little shit for doing so…he’s doing nothing more that doing the best he can to get a book or movie deal…on what? I can’t even imagine…
