Pound Sand
Netanyahu: Jerusalem is Ours, Not Up for Debate
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu issued a sharp response Sunday to United States pressure to stop Jews from building in parts of Jerusalem claimed by the Palestinian Authority. Israel’s sovereignty in Jerusalem is “not up for debate,” Netanyahu said, and Jews are permitted to build in any part of the capital city, as are Arabs.
His response was a lot more polite than what mine would have been. Something to the effect of “Go pound sand!”, but in more, shall we say, colorful language?
Israel annexed Sheikh Jarrah and other Jerusalem neighborhoods following the Six Day War, in which the city was reunified after 19 years of Jordanian rule in the eastern half of the city. While Israel has maintained sovereignty in the capital city for more than 40 years, the Palestinian Authority continues to demand all areas controlled by Jordan in the 1950s.
Ok, it’s like this…..you lost, they won. Time to more on, and make an effort to live in peace. I know, I’m asking WAY too much, but hey, gotta try, right? Here’s a thought….be damn happy they didn’t kick your hind ends out! The Israelis are an extremely civilized people….y’all could learn a LOT from them, if you would just make the effort. 
While Israeli leaders proclaim Jerusalem to be the unified capital of Israel, Israeli Muslim leaders teach their children that Jerusalem is rightfully Arab and Muslim. On Saturday, the Islamic Movement bussed thousands of Israeli Arab Muslim children to the Al Aksa Mosque on the Temple Mount, where they heard speeches referring to the Temple Mount and Jerusalem as areas “occupied” by Israel.
Reality isn’t strong on their list of essentials for living, is it.

I mean, if you want to get right down to it, there are a lot of “occupiers” and it ain’t the Israelis. Like I said before, be happy they aren’t throwing your lying asses back to Jordon. But, oh yeah….they don’t want you, do they.
Exhausted!
Well, we got to Vicksburg in one piece, which is a bloomin’ miracle. Ick was following me when the rain hit, and HIT HARD! Then, it was the hail! Golf ball plus sized hail. I now have a crack in the windshield of my brand new truck. NOT a happy camper. It was so bad, we had to pull to the side of the road cuz neither one of us could see. And then…..the sun came out, nerves began to unravel, and we made it out of Texas into Louisiana, all the way across the state without too many “Are we there yet?” coming from the passenger seat.
Once we got here, Ick and SP got checked into their hotel, and Jr and I got checked in to ours. We decided since Jr is 2 weeks shy of 17, she could damn well watch her sister while her daddy and I got some peace and quiet (?) at the nearest casino. The idea….no kids allowed. Heh. We both started with a 50. I came out with 200 after I played it down a bit. Hey….I was already tired. He came out with a $2 chip. 
We got back to the hotel to find there had been a medium sized catastrophe. Seems Short Person can’t keep her feet on the floor, and just HAD to kick a soda…..on MY bed. Pfft! They did manage to change the sheets, and Jr and I swapped beds. THEN….Ick had this BRILLIANT idea! He decided he was going to take BOTH GIRLS to his room. Bless his heart! I’m so brain fried right now, I might have grumbled a lot, but wouldn’t have been able to do much damage to either kid. But it was probably a wise choice. Heh.
I’m So Angry I Could Spit!!

The last time Parion visited the care center was March 4. He did not see a doctor again until his death this month, according to investigative reports.
On March 16, Mandisa gave birth to her fifth child, a boy. Friends and neighbors of Randolph said the young mother was completely overwhelmed.
“She was really struggling,” said Randolph’s neighbor, 48-year-old Alice Johnson. “Even though I am very sorry for what happened to (Parion), I don’t really blame her,” Johnson said.”She had so many irons in the fire. She just didn’t have time.”

Road Trip
Ok, we’re all ready to head back to Tennessee, home and my OWN BED! I’m sooooo ready for that bed. 
Ick and Short Person will be going with us. I’ll be putting him to work. Heh.
Next stop….Vicksburg….if I survive. Short Person will be riding with me on this leg, and Jr with Ick. If you read about a ten year old abandoned on the side of the road somewhere in northeast Texas, or in the wilds of Louisiana…… heh heh heh Brat is the smart one. She’s not coming. She gets the dubious pleasure of staying here and taking care of their critters.

Man’s Future Is In The STARS!

Just a snippet:
I quickly became bored with that flying breadbox and by NASA’s repeated trips to the flying piece of hi-tech junk we laughingly call a “space station.” Are you as bored as I am that the space truck, “The Shuttle” is way past its prime and, apparently, seems to be falling apart!
So… what happened? I mean, what happened to our great plans to explore space?
The cost? Nah! That’s not it. We placed men on the moon while bearing the expense of losing a war in Southeast Asia, which our government would not allow our military to win. The real cost is in not getting off this planet and finding a new home! Man’s destiny lies out there, among the stars, among the planets. I am solidly convinced of that.
I had hoped before my days on THIS planet were over I would live to witness the first Mars colony. I had assumed we would already have a colony on the moon. But, no… we are still fiddling around with that metal can circling the earth… the Space Station.

I remember very well the day that my entire elementary school gathered in the cafeteria/auditorium to watch the launch of our first man in space, Alan Shepard, for a 15 minute ride, on 5 May 1961. I remember watching the launch of our first man to circle the earth, for 3 whole days, John Glen, 20 February 1962. We all knew that by the time we were all grown up, we’d be going to other planets, seeing alien (and icky) lifeforms. We’d be exploring the universe!
On 20 July 1969, I came home from a date, and we watched the first man, Neil Armstrong, step foot on that moon up there, with my dad. “That’s one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind.” We talked about where we would go from there, and literally, the sky (space) was the limit. We had high hopes back then, for our future, and for the future of the human race.
Those hopes of my youth have been dashed. We haven’t gone to new planets. We haven’t done diddly but build a tin can that is always in need of repair, sending up people to spend six months or so, to orbit the same planet, year after year. Our imagination has been squashed, along with our dreams.
As J.D. said, it’s not the money, although many use that as an excuse. It’s more than man has lost his will for exploration. We have become a negative society, ‘you can’t do that, you might skin your knee’, and it’s destroying the dreams and ambitions of our children.
Like J.D., I expected to see colonies on at least Mars, the first child born on a different planet haled in the newspapers, yet all I read is how politicians are still screwing over the American people, but on a much grander scale.

Wienermobile Crashes Into Wisconsin Home
One southern Wisconsin homeowner is probably not in love with the Oscar Mayer wiener.
The famed hot dog’s Wienermobile crashed Friday into the deck and garage of a home in Mount Pleasant, about 35 miles south of Milwaukee.
Police say the driver was trying to turn the Wienermobile around in the driveway and thought she was moving in reverse. But she instead went forward and hit the home. It sat in the driveway as if it were stuck in the garage Friday afternoon.
No one was home and no one was injured. No citations were immediately issued.
Both the home and vehicle suffered moderate damage, which Oscar Mayer spokeswoman Sydney Lindner says insurance will cover.
This is the type of visit that would not make me happy! Besides, I prefer Hebrew National, or Nathan’s.
The Last Real Journalist?
As a young sprout, we had 3 television channels, all in black and white. Eventually, color sets came out, but we never had one. The reasoning was “why buy a new one when this one works just fine”. Watching the evening news was a ritual in our family, Huntley and Brinkley, and Cronkite are the ones I remember best. My dad would come in from work, sit down, call whoever was in the house at the time to come and watch the news with him. Sometimes, we’d pretend we didn’t hear him, or let him know we were doing our homework (snicker), but a great deal of the time, at least one of us would be sitting there with him while Mom was cooking dinner. That was when news was actually the NEWS, and not slanted opinion fluff they feed you these days. It was the ugly truth, or the sad reality, but it was usually what was really going on. I really miss the hard hitting reporters. You know the ones that actually researched a story before ever releasing it to the public. Facts. Pure facts. The Cronkites of that business are sorely missed.

Islamic Supremacist Group Holds First U.S. Conference
A group committed to establishing an international Islamic empire and reportedly linked to Al Qaeda is stepping up its Western recruitment efforts by holding its first official conference in the U.S.
Hizb ut-Tahrir is a global Sunni network with reported ties to confessed 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Al Qaeda in Iraq’s onetime leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. It has operated discreetly in the U.S. for decades.
Now, it is coming out of the shadows and openly hosting a July 19 conference entitled, “The Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam,” at a posh Hilton hotel in a suburb of Chicago.
My first question would be: What the hell are these pigs doing to my country?
Hizb ut-Tahrir insists that it does not engage in terrorism, and it is not recognized by the State Department as a known terror group.
But some terrorism experts say it may be even more dangerous than many groups that are on the terror list.
Since Obama’s push into the White House, I’ve no doubt more and more of his ‘brothers’ will be coming out of the woodwork in their attempts to establish the U.S. as a “Muslim country“.
Phares said that Hizb ut-Tahrir, rather than training members to carry out terrorist acts like Al Qaeda, focuses instead on indoctrinating youths between ages of 9 and 18 to absorb the ideology that calls for the formation of an empire — or “khilafah” — that will rule according to Islamic law and condones any means to achieve it, including militant jihad.
Hizb ut-Tahrir often says that its indoctrination “prepares the infantry” that groups like Al Qaeda take into battle, Phares said.

Hilton Oak Lawn General Manager Rick Harmon said Hizb ut-Tahrir used its own name and was open about the nature of the event, which includes lectures entitled “Capitalism is Doomed to Fail,” “The Global Rise of Islam,” and the “Role of Muslims in America,” when it reserved the room for the conference.
“We’re United States citizens and an American business — if it’s legal, we’re able to host it, as long as it’s nothing that disrupts our other guests’ privacy and security,” Harmon told FOXNews.com.
So, this business doesn’t mind a group that wants to destroy it using it’s facilities? Does anyone else see a major conflict? Yes, we do have a 1st Amendment, but we also still have a few private businesses (not giverment owned) that can say no to such groups, don’t we?

An Open Letter to John Kasich

John Kasich is a good man. I appeared on his show Heartland several times when it aired on Fox News. He also interviewed me once when he was filling in for Bill on the O’Reilly Factor. But now that he is running for governor of Ohio he may have a far more serious job in the near future. If elected, he will have to root out terrorist activity that is taking hold in the Buckeye State – activity that is being funded by Ohio taxpayers.
If Kasich is elected, his efforts to fight terror will get little assistance from the Obama administration. So far, Obama has done several things that will weaken future efforts to prevent domestic terrorism. Some examples follow:
*Obama has dismantled the Homeland Security Council. Their responsibilities have reverted back to the National Security Council. Since the NSC focuses largely on foreign policy issues, it is likely to overlook serious threats from within the United States.
*Obama has appointed Janet Napolitano as Homeland Security director. She has no experience with domestic terror issues. Her expertise is confined to border issues. And her reckless (and very public) remarks have made it clear that she sees returning war veterans as greater threats than Muslim extremists already living amongst us. One could easily call her appointment a real “manmade disaster.”
*Of course, Obama also appointed Eric Holder, Jr., as his U.S. attorney general. Holder played a major role in Bill Clinton’s pardon of a group of FALN terrorists in late 2000. Nothing more need be said about Holder’s commitment (or lack thereof) to fighting domestic terrorism.
*Obama also freed terrorist Binyam Mohamed. After training at al-Qaeda terrorist camps he was paid to come to the U.S. to blow up high-rise apartment buildings. Obama released him from Guantanamo in January. He was sent to the U.K. but, unfortunately, he will likely return to the U.S. to try to blow-up high rise apartment buildings. This return will be likely because a) He faces no charges in the U.K. and is a free man, and b) He has previously forged passports in an effort to enter the U.S. illegally. In other words, he is both free and determined.

Congress Exempts Itself From Government-Run Socialized Medicine!

It would seem the hypocrisy of our government knows no bounds! Now they have gone to great lengths to exempt themselves from this wonderful government-run healthcare system they are trying to foist upon the unsuspecting American people.
This socialized medicine, apparently, is not good enough for them but it is damn sure all you and I rate. While we wait in lines and for weeks and months to see a doctor or have a medical procedure of some kind performed they will be enjoying first class, number one, healthcare with the doctor of their choice, where, and when they choose.

Attaching that so called “hate crimes” amendment to the Defense Spending Bill? Are they freaking insane? I pray that every one of them, if they have “pair”, will vote against this bill with this outrageous amendment attached. Obviously, libtards don’t have any, and haven’t for a very long time, considering they pander to the PC, so we know how the majority will vote. However, if there is a Democrat who has any integrity at all, he, or she, WILL vote NO!

Health Care Bill Will Fund State Vaccine Teams to Conduct ‘Interventions’ in Private Homes
There is a knock at the front door. Peeking through the window, a mother sees a man and a woman, both in uniform. They are agents of health-care reform.
“Excuse me, ma’am,” says the man. “Our records show that your eleven-year-old daughter has not been immunized for genital warts.”
“And your four-year-old still needs the chicken-pox vaccine,” says the woman.
“He will not be allowed to start kindergarten unless he gets that shot, you know,” says the man—smiling from ear to ear.
“So, can we please come in?” asks the woman. “We have the vaccines right here,” she says, lifting up a black medical bag. “We can give your kids the shots right now.”
“We are from the government,” says the man, “and we’re here to help.”
Who the hell do they think they are???? The United freakin’ Nations? Is this the type of “change” you dickheads voted for???? Then go your ass to a socialist country, and leave us the hell alone! I am so disgusted by all this absolute bullshit, as you can probably tell from my reccent addition of four lettered words, I could just scream! Don’t be surprised if more and more people go postal.
It is not the job of the federal government to raise our children. If that’s what they want to do, they can take ‘em all home with them, pay for their clothes, their food, their medicine….out of their own freakin’ pockets. I mean after all, Congress is full of millionaires, they can afford it, right?
No where, in the Constitution of the United States, does it state that the federal government has the right to dictate our children’s care. NO WHERE! Read it!!!!! You won’t find it in there anywhere! And you won’t find a whole lot of the other crap they’ve been shoving down our throats either. It is past time to boot the whole bunch of them back to their cushy lives, on their on dime! Stop wasting our money for your socialist agenda!
