Obama Wants Health Reform Bill This Week
Moving forcefully on his top domestic priority, President Barack Obama told a powerful Senate chairman on Monday he wants legislation ready in the Finance Committee by week’s end, according to numerous Democratic officials.
These officials said Obama made his wishes known to Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., at a White House meeting attended by administration officials and senior Democratic lawmakers.
It was not immediately clear whether Obama expressed a preference for a bipartisan measure — which Baucus has been laboring over for months — or a bill tailored more to Democratic specifications.
The conversation underscored Obama’s determination to push legislation through both houses of Congress before lawmakers go home for a summer break late this month or in August.
No! NO! NO! And HELL NO!
No where in the Constitution of the United States does it give Congress, or the POTUS for that matter, any right, whatsoever to go into the health care business! They can’t even freakin’ balance a checkbook, but yet they believe they’ve got all the answers to what ails the country? THEY are what ails! PERIOD!
Shoving bills through that NO ONE has even read? And now trying to shove socialized medicine down our throats? Every thing that is wrong with this country right leads right back to Washington, D.C. It is WAY past time to get those jackasses out of there, and put in people who have actually READ the Constitution, and understand what it means!

From time to time, I participate in those very left slanted Zogby polls. Typically, they ask some totally irrelevant questions, for demographic purposes. This is a new one:

Now, you’ll excuse me if I ask the question…..what difference does it make if I’m a member of the NRA when the poll is about how I think the Obummer is doing wasting White House space and the uranium mining around the Grand Canyon? I’ve questioned why they want to know if I’m a NASCAR fan or not, but this one is off the wall. The answer to both of those question is “NUN’YA FREAKIN’ BIDNESS!”

Let us be clear on something. You may not like it, but it is fact, nevertheless. I once heard a preacher say: “You may not believe in hell, and that’s alright. But is still there, and you are still going!” The same holds true for what I am about to say. Right wing, conservative, talk shows saved the AM Broadcast Band in America. That is a fact whether you believe it, or not. I was there. I saw it. The AM band was done for. It had nowhere to go. It had tried everything, including “AM Stereo”, and nothing worked. The broadcast quality of the FM band was so far superior to AM that AM was a relic. AM stations were shutting down. They were being sold for a song. In some cases they were actually being given away! I’m serious. If, say, a company had an AM/FM Combo for sale, they’d sometimes sweeten the deal by GIVING the AM station to the buyer of the FM station! In some cases, some owners simply switched off the transmitter, locked he doors, and mailed their licenses back to Washington – and walked away. It was THAT bad. As I said, I was there. I saw it.

I have never understood why there was a “Fairness Doctrine” in place the first time around. It was, and will be, a complete violation of the 1st Amendment. The left wants you ignorant. Just look at the state of the public education system. Our children are coming out about as ignorant as they went in, with one exception…..the libtard indoctrination has taken hold.

More Family Moments
Today was a ‘big’ day around here. Ick drove down to Houston to pick up “Grandma”. She isn’t exactly a blood family member, but she’s the closest thing to a granny type the girls have, so they call her Grandma. Yeah….I’m the actual grandmother, but do I seem the granny type to you? No, I didn’t think so! 
Ick made his ‘world famous’ fajitas. Gotta tell ya, they were pretty dadburn good. And if he doesn’t quit cooking all the time, I’m gonna be back into my bigger britches before I get back home. One thing that is driving him nuts….the estrogen around here is definitely overshadowing the testosterone. heh heh heh
I did manage to send a few pics through my phone today, but I gotta tell ya, moving all around the house, pointing that goofy thing in all directions, just to get something to send….taking a good 15 minutes each, is more than just a little annoying.
So, anyways, here we have the family canines, Haley and Bo. Only my daughter would name a dog Haley. Jeeez.
Bo is an interesting specimen: 
Poor critter is one of those who was neglected, so Short Person decided he should come home with her one day after school. His scars have healed up, and he’s lost the worm tummy, and is so bloomin’ funny to watch sliding across the tile floors. Heh. He’s got BIG feet too. This should be interesting. *snicker*
Luckily, I caught the brat before she could give me her “world famous” evil eye. Heh.
Ick, Grandma, and Rocky….all full as the proverbial tics.
Brat and Short Person.
There might be a few folks wondering… “Wait a minute. No picture of Brat Jr?” Nope! And the reason for that is…..I’m sick of taking pictures of her bloomin’ hand, which she has a REAL bad habit of putting up anytime she see’s a camera in my hand. She thinks she a total diva, and I’m the flippin’ paparazzi, I suppose. Rotten child!

It was a little over a year ago that Atlas broke the story that Obama’s certification of live birth was a “horrible forgery”. I ran a 28 page forensic digital analysis meticulously prepared by a forensic digital examination specialist exposing the fraud. Obama hired five law firms to fight the release of the vault copy. He has never seen the light of day despite numerous calls by hundreds of thousands of concerned Americas to do just that.

Rep. Alcee Hastings – the impeached Florida judge Nancy Pelosi tried to install as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee until her own party members rebelled – introduced an amendment to the defense authorization bill that gives Attorney General Eric Holder sole discretion to label groups that oppose government policy on guns, abortion, immigration, states’ rights, or a host of other issues. In a June 25 speech on the House floor, Rep. Trent Franks, R-AZ, blasted the idea: “This sounds an alarm for many of us because of the recent shocking and offensive report released by the Department of Homeland Security which labeled, arguably, a majority of Americans as ‘extremists.’”
Go! Read both! I have family to deal with, and I’m sure you’re intelligent enough to see the writing on the wall. Well, at least MOST of you are. The rest? Well, go ahead, keep your head buried in the sand, and continue sipping on your Kool Aid.

Cass Sunstein, a Harvard Law professor who has been appointed to a shadowy post that will grant him powers that are merely mind-boggling, explicitly supports using the courts to impose a “chilling effect” on speech that might hurt someone’s feelings. He thinks that the bloggers have been rampaging out of control and that new laws need to be written to corral them.
Have NONE of Obummer’s cronies ever read the Constitution????? It is NOT toilet paper, and I can guran-damn-tee, there are a LOT more of us who believe in the 1st AND 2nd Amendments, than there are the feckless weasels who now believe they are gods! I have a God, and a Messiah! It ain’t the poser, Barack Hussein Obama!
Personal Update Thingy
Well, I said I would be posting light, and I’ve pretty much stuck to that, haven’t I! The biggest reason, I haven’t watched the news is close to a week! Heh. Yes, withdrawal was tough at the start, but I’ve survived it, and now am actually enjoying not being glued to the idjit box. Actually, during the MJ fiasco, I wasn’t watching before we left on our trip, so it’s really not so bad. I’m hoping that’s behind us? One can only hope!
I haven’t posted any pictures of the clan, because, well, I get zip on the phone service out here. You’d think a town, so close to Houston, with a WHOLE lot of commuters would have better phone service. Oh hell no! And since I use my phone to take pictures…. “Can you hear me now?” NO! I can’t hear diddly. Verizon lies! 
I did find one spot in the house where I could talk to the Mr, but if I moved an inch in either direction…. sigh… Yes, I could also go outside and wander around the yard till I got reception, but it’s freakin’ hot out there…..are you NUTS?
I’m seriously enjoying my bat cave! Other than the fact the toity doesn’t work worth a flip, it’s quite nice to escape the over sized rug rats now and then….especially in the morning. As we all know, I am NOT a morning person, and I seriously do not want to have a conversation with a 10 year old, on ANY subject. It has been pleasant to sit and drink coffee with Ick on those mornings when every one else was still asleep. I guess we’re the only two who have figured out, sleeping all day is kind of a waste, and Brat was at work, so having her scowling wasn’t an issue. She’s not a morning person either. Wonder where she gets it? Hmmm….
Luckily, there has been no blood letting between Brat Jr and Short Person….so far. It’s kind of tough when there are 6 years difference between them. Their interests are completely different, obviously. In a few short weeks, Jr will be 17. I don’t think playing with princess stuff is her thing. Although, it was extremely amusing to listen to them playing American Idol. Even the dogs kept trying to figure out where that racket was coming from. Heh. I think it’s pretty safe to say, neither one will be dealing with Simon whatshisface any time soon.

Obama: Recovery Will Take Years Not Months
With the economy still firmly in the grip of a tenacious recession, President Obama is urging Americans to have patience and give his economic recovery plan time to work.
Restating themes he laid out in his weekly radio and Internet address, Obama said in an op-ed posted early Sunday on The Washington Post’s Web site that his $787 billion stimulus program was not expected to return the economy to full health, but to provide a boost that would stop the free fall.
“So far, it has done that,” the president wrote. “It was, from the start, a two-year program, and it will steadily save and create jobs as it ramps up over this summer and fall.”
Really? “It has done that”? I’m not sure what planet that man is from, or which one he is currently residing, but it sure isn’t the same one I am seeing! If anything, his moronic plan has made things a WHOLE lot worse. What jobs is he ‘creating’? Seriously, I wish someone would tell me. If any at all, are there more than the 3 million that have been lost?
“Simply put, this is now President Obama’s economy and the American people are beginning to question whether his policies are working,” Rep. Eric Cantor of Virginia, the House Republican whip, said in the GOP’s weekly address.
Oh yeah. He owns this one! It is ALL his, and his socialist minions. If he had left things alone, odds are, we would already be seeing some recovery. But no….like all children, he had to tinker with it, and make it worse!
Obama, in the op-ed, said “Even as we rescue this economy from a full-blown crisis, I have insisted that we must rebuild it better than before.”
Uh huh. His idea of ‘better than before” is an economy run totally by the giverment. And we see how well that’s worked, haven’t we. People have lost any faith in their gubmint, and when that happens, it’s time to dissolve it, and start from scratch…..RETURN to the republic, which the Founder Fathers created. The one I’ve watch erode over my lifetime, but nothing like it has during the past 7 months!
Health care costs must be controlled, jobs created within the U.S., worker training programs established and budget deficits reduced, he said.
So, the United Socialist States of America, once a proud nation, is going the way of the Soviet Union, and we all know how well that worked out, don’t we. Yeah. That makes boatloads of sense.

Millions Unemployed as “Stimulus” Funds Road Signs, Mice
When the trillion-dollar “stimulus” spending bill passed in February Democrats promised it would create new jobs within “weeks to months.” Instead, CBS News says “more than two million jobs have been lost and unemployment has hit its highest rate in a quarter century,” with nearly “9 million people” collecting unemployment according to Human Events. And day after day we find more examples of taxpayer dollars being spent on items that do not create new jobs.
In answer to my question, I’d have to say it’s a resounding…..NO!
Now, I think mice are cute and all, but unless they are hiring people to round them up for snake food, I don’t see why OUR tax dollars are being spent on them. And just why do WE own signs proclaiming that our giverment is spending more money that it has? Matter of fact, they don’t have ANY money at all! It’s OUR money! Without us, they ain’t got DICK! We seriously need to cut off that spiggot that aids in the flow toward the morons in Congress!
The Big “A”
I have to Apologize to some commuters on I94 westbound in Waukesha County Wisconsin yesterday afternoon around 1515.
I’m driving down the Interstate minding my own business and this guy next to me starts honking and having a fit. I had noticed him behind me on the entrance ramp and I’m think WTF did I do to piss this guy off?? Our side by side driving had slowed down the middle and right lane considerably. He start doing the international signal for roll down your window.
Reluctantly I rolled down my window as requested.
The guy screams on the top of his lungs…..
WHERE DIDJA GET THAT BUMPER STICKER???? I WANT ONE!!!!!!
