there are more qualified people than you out of work.
She graduated in April, and she's given up already? I know people who got laid off when I did in January who are still looking. And they have experience. And degrees that aren't as worthless as "information technology" (she should sue herself for signing up for a worthless program in the first place).
OTOH, anyone who hires her gets to check the "we hired a woman to do a tech job" box on the state/federal minority hiring disclosure forms, and use her for tax credits and other programs, so that does put her at an advantage over men with no experience. I can't find a picture of her, so I'm guessing she's not a two-fer (i.e., white).
(I can't describe how much I loathe those government race/gender disclosure forms. Everytime I fill one out, I wonder if they hired me for my brain or my genitals.)

If she is successful in her lawsuit all of the students that ever walked across the stage to grab their Anthropology Degree will be demanded their fair share, too.
