nyp, are you so utterly dense as you appear? I have stated, repeatedly, that I do not believe such a system is in the best interest of this country, or her people. Anyone who reads this blog on a regular basis already KNOWS! I didn’t just appear for your convenience, y’know. Oh, and FYI….I’m not a Republican.

You are perfectly entitled to these views. I just want to make sure that anyone reading this blog realizes that you wish to abolish Social Security, Medicare, the mortgage interest deduction, the charitable tax deduction, federal disability payments and student loan guarantees. As much as I disagree with you, it is good that you are so forthrignt – just as the Congressional Republicans have been forthright about wanting to eliminate Medicare.

I absolutely want to get rid of every single government run program that has shoved this country into debt, and turned once hard working Americans into dependents. How about YOU save your hard earned dollars for your retirement, and I’ll save mine? The “New Deal” was a raw deal, for the American people.

Case in point: Van Jones. THESE are the types he is surrounding himself, and yes, undermining the U.S. Constitution by any means IS unconstitutional. I'm really sorry you aren't seeing the forest. You are just one cog in a wheel that has turned this once great nation into a country of apologists, weak willed, kiss ass, pussies.

No where in the Constitution does it state that I have to pay for your health care, buy you a house, send your children to college, etc. NO where in the Constitution does it state that I am responsible for YOU at all. Destroying the economy to implement your socialist agenda IS unconstitutional. Aided and abetted by the weasels in Congress, who have usurped powers NOT granted to them by said Constitution.

perhaps they have not questioned Persident Obama’s appointment of assistants because there is nothing either unconstitutional or illegal about what he is doing, just as there nothing either unconstitutional or illegal about President G.W. Bush making similar appointments.

Why hasn’t congressman/woman, senators, and cabinet members questioned their responsibilities an obligations being reduced to window dressing by the insertion of czars in the Whitehouse? Why are there so many empty traditional positions not been filled by Obama via the normal process, yet he has the greatest number of self appointed czars?

What does the public watch sitcoms instead of paying attention to the government doing what “it wants” instead of the people want?

You don't see a resemblance between the policies of the Socialist Democrats of Hitler's era, and the policies of the Obama administration. Please, take off the blinders. Unless you believe the take over of privately owned businesses is a good thing? At this point in time, the only way I see of Obama winning a re-election is through massive fraud. And Democrats do have a talent for FRAUD, don't they.

I believe in a FAIR TAX system. Nothing about the IRS is in the realm of 'fair'.

And as for your final statement. I have a feeling the fox is smelling his own hole here.

OK, so you believe that the majority of American voters were pinheads, but you think some of them may be recovering. However, if they re-elect the candidate you disapprove of in 2012 the will return to being pinheads. I guess I just have a higher opinon of the American people than you do.

You also believe that the progressive income tax should be abolished. I think that would be unfortunate.

Finally, you also belive that there is no difference between the President of the United States and either Hitler or Stalin. That opinion removes you from any possible political dialoge, for it evidences a severe psychosis.

I am quite pleased that many who did vote for him are coming out of their stupor and are now having 'voter remorse'. It appears to me that you won't be one of them. There is a difference between a liberal and a socialist. Obama is not a liberal. If he is, then Joseph Stalin was too, and Hitler, and Castro.

You want to take from those who earn, and give it to those who don't. The wealthy already pay a disproportionate amount, AND give freely to charities. The wealthy are also the ones who provide the jobs. Without them, there ARE NO JOBS. The only jobs that have been created by the porkulus are government, and who pays the government? The taxpayers. THEY HAVE NO MONEY! The people who Obama is surrounding himself with seem to do his thinking for him. I'm quite serious when I ask, who is running the show? Obama has no leadership skills. Congress isn't writing the bills. Don't you question the direction he is heading? Taking over car companies, banks....what's next?

We have a Constitution. One that works real well. Stop using it for toilet paper.

No, oldbroad, I am not a socialist at all. I don’t believe in state ownership of the means of production. That is generally a bad thing.
I am a liberal, like the President. I believe in the principles of progressive taxation, as it has existed in this country for almost a hundred years. And, unlike you, I believe that growing and institutionalized income inequality is a genuine issue that needs to be recognized and confronted. That is standard-issue liberalism. It has nothing to do with nationalizing the coal mines, or whatever.
