Obama and the Dems Plan to RAM Socialized Medicine Through the Congress!

Obama, and his fellow socialists in Washington, have apparently decided to go it alone on so-called healthcare reform and RAM their ObamaCare, socialized medicine, through the Congress without any GOP support and without the support of the American people. The narcissism of our President and the lust for power by his lapdogs, the Democrats/Socialists in Congress, is such that they are completely convinced that they know better than you what you want and need and they are going to take action to force American citizens to bend to their will on their plans for healthcare reform. There is a name for this. Actually, there are several names for this sort of behavior. A couple leap to mind. Dictatorship is one, the other is SOCIALISM, and still another is Fascism!
What we Americans are observing in our nation’s capital is a governing body in the throes of neo-fascism, neo-marxism, and neo-socialism! We have a run-away, out-of control, rogue legislature bent on the subjugation of the American citizenry to their every whim. Right now, that whim is total power over the lives of all Americans through an overhaul of the American Healthcare System – otherwise known as ObamaCare!

As Adam Smith observed, whenever two businessmen meet, “the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices.” That’s why we need a third, fourth and 45th competing insurance company that will undercut them by offering better service at a lower price.
Tiny little France and Germany have more competition among health insurers than the U.S. does right now. Amazingly, both of these socialist countries have less state regulation of health insurance than we do, and you can buy health insurance across regional lines — unlike in the U.S., where a federal law allows states to ban interstate commerce in health insurance.

When it comes to evaluating the claims of Democrat party leadership and others about rationing and how to deal with grandma, I am guided by that great philosopher, Marx. That’s Groucho, not Karl, who famously said: “Who do you believe, me or your eyes?”
The President and Democrats are promising, promising there are no “death panels” and that no one will “pull the plug on grandma.”
I am not worried about death panels or plugs being pulled. I am worried about expanding government power about what to pay doctors, how to allocate care and telling me (and my doctor) something is ineffective, wasteful or unnecessary treatment.
That’s government rationing. And it will happen.

Drug dealers selling pills with Obama visage for $20 a pop
AUGUST 18–In light of the ongoing health care debate and President Barack Obama’s recent reflection on the comparative cost of blue and red pills, we present this gallery of law enforcement evidence photos of a product not currently being pushed by Big Pharma. The Obama pills–usually of the Ecstasy variety–have been seized from drug dealers by cops in a variety of U.S. cities. The pills, available in a rainbow of colors, usually retail for about $20 each. In January, police in upstate New York broke up a narcotics distribution ring that peddled heroin in glassine envelopes stamped with the president’s last name.
I guess we know who the drug dealers support, eh?

Housing Minister Ariel Attias said the decision not to approve any more projects was part of a “waiting period” rather than a “freeze”.
Barack Obama has been putting Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu under intense pressure to end settlement expansion completely.
Citing a historic opportunity to forge peace in the Middle East, the president has been pushing both Israel and the Arab world to make gestures of good faith.

The US administration has been unusually outspoken in its demands that Israel halt all building activity in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, areas where the Palestinians hope to create a future state.
And who gives the US administration the authority to tell Israel when it can, or cannot built? No one I know of. Can you imagine some other country telling us we couldn’t build any more high rise apartment buildings in New York? Or condos in Miami? Or a log cabin in the Rocky Mountains? Holy cow! Talk about it hitting the fan!

Slipping into quicksand

President Obama, once considered as politically agile and deft as a gazelle, is now looking increasingly like a deer caught in the headlights.
His poll numbers on everything from job approval to his handling of the economy, health care, taxes and bailouts are dropping faster than a cement shoe in the Hudson River. Perhaps even more worrisome, Rasmussen Reports shows that fewer Americans consider him “trustworthy.”
His popular support is hemorrhaging because all of his major initiatives are either failing in execution or in the legislative process. According to a new USA Today/Gallup Poll, 57 percent of Americans say the $787 billion economic stimulus is having no effect on the economy or is making it worse.
Actually, I’d guess that his popularity is slipping because people are starting to wise up, and educate themselves on his REAL motives for trying to shove all his nonsense down our throats. At least I would HOPE people are taking the time to read the bills he’s proposing. After the porkulus fiasco, and the NON reading of the bill in Congress, you’d think even The ONE could have figured it out. We’re not as stupid as they’d like to believe. Obviously, since we actually READ these bills, we’re a whole lot smarter than them!
An even higher percentage — 60 percent — doubt the stimulus will improve the economy in the years ahead. A new Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll shows a whopping 72 percent of Democrats, Republicans and independents would like to see the balance of the unspent stimulus money — about $600 billion — returned to taxpayers.
Since it is OUR money, and D.C. doesn’t have a dime of it’s own, absolutely return it to the people. Bunch of dadburn thieves are occupying those buildings in the Swamp!
The cap-and-trade legislation cleared the House (barely) but looks to die a timely death in the Senate. A majority of Americans now reject this scheme as they have learned it would be tantamount to the largest tax increase in the history of the world.
Can we bury it? For good?? Why is it that this administration wants to destroy what aided in making this country great? Free enterprise, entrepreneurship, and good old fashioned independent spirit?
And now, Mr. Obama’s Orwellian health care vision is going down in a ball of flames, with Americans of every ideological stripe in revolt over some part of what’s being proposed, conceded and debated.
While there may be some in this country who believe the gubmint can take care of them, better than they can take care of themselves, a good majority of us know better. Note even the POTUS said that private business runs better than a gubmint run entity. (Although, I don’t think that was his intent. heh.) Can you name ONE government run organization that is NOT running in the red? I can’t think of any. Perhaps you can?
First, he (like the rest of his party) misread November’s election results as a mandate to impose a far-left agenda without debate. The American people, however, still believe in the quaint idea of robust discussion before ideas are turned into law. They also make up a country that remains ideologically center-right. This week, Gallup released a poll showing that conservatives now outnumber liberals in all 50 states, and that 40 percent self-identify as conservative versus only 21 percent self-identifying as liberal.
Many will deny it, but I still believe if many of those who voted for Obama had bothered to do their homework, there is no way he could have been elected. I do think that he was elected solely based on the color of his skin. That’s it. Some bizzarre “white guilt” thing. I don’t give a flip about the color someone’s skin. I’d vote for Kevin Jackson in a heart beat, NOT because of his melanin, but because of his political stance. (Want an education? The second reason involves Mr. Obama’s lack of political combat experience. He has never been hit before. Until the health care blowup, none of his significant political opponents ever really landed a punch. During his early Chicago political career, he ran opponents off the ballot, but such community-organizing manipulation doesn’t translate well nationally. And now he finds himself in the presidency, never having known what it is to take a body blow.
It says a lot about the way things are run in Chicago, which is well known secret. Nothing has changed since the days of Al Capone. If someone opposes you, take ‘em out! Of course, there aren’t literal bodies piling up, but the result is the same.
Mr. Obama never experienced that. His opponents — particularly Hillary Rodham Clinton — tried to go after him, but even she used kid gloves. Former President Bill Clinton tried, too, and nearly got booed off the national stage. And Sen. John McCain could muster only the weakest of attacks against his younger rival. The mainstream media, of course, played up to him intently.
If the lame stream media had been doing it’s job, this would never have been a problem because he would have NEVER made it to the White House.
A president is always cosseted by his staff. But as a candidate, he should have experienced the rough-and-tumble. Without it, he stands puzzled before us, mystified by our resistance, stunned by the attacks, and paralyzed by growing insecurity and disbelief.
Now that he’s standing in front of the Presidential Seal, he has no idea how to deal with criticism. Throughout his political career, which is basically the only career he’s ever had, no one seems to have dared to contradict his policies. Welcome to the REAL world Mr Obama.
His agenda is sinking into quicksand, and it’s only a matter of time before he also grows overwhelmed and heavy from a battle to which he is unaccustomed.
May it sink so far, no rope will ever be able to pull it back up! To quote El Rushbo: I hope he fails!

Man Charged With Rape of 5-Year-Old Girl in Memphis
Memphis police say a man has been charged with raping a five-year-old girl after a family friend found nude pictures of the child.
According to a court document, 31-year-old Pablo Mateo was arrested and charged with the Rape of a Child.
Police say a family friend found a cell phone belonging to Mateo that had naked pictures of the 5-year-old girl on it. After finding the photos, the friend and a Department of Children’s Services investigator took the child to Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center where it was determined that the girl had been sexually assaulted, according to the court document.
Authorities say the girl told investigators that Mateo took nude pictures of her and touched and penetrated her “private area.” The court document says the girl told the investigators the last time Mateo kissed and touched her was August 7, 2009.
May I say…..I really hope this piece of human excrement never sees the light of day? Yeah….I thought I could. And if I said what I am really thinking, this blog would change from PG-13 to XXX!
A Dem Call To “Arms”?
TNDP asks Dems to flood town halls
A memo put out this afternoon by the Tennessee Democratic Party urges backers of health care reform to show up at town halls to give their support for reform.
As you are probably aware, Republicans have orchestrated protests at Democratic town hall meetings to disrupt civil debate about health insurance reform. The voices that need to be heard are from Tennesseans who truly want to fix the broken parts of our health-delivery system.
The memo runs down local town halls being hosted by Democratic Reps. Lincoln Davis, Bart Gordon and John Tanner. Rep. Jim Cooper has decided not to do town halls, opting instead for one-on-one meetings with constituents.
I’m a little confused. Are there no Democrats in Tennessee that care about the issue? Surely that can’t be the case. So, why does the state’s party have to send out a memo for it’s members to show up at town halls? Has the TN Republican Party had to send out a memo to get it’s members to attend? Not that I’m aware of, but I’m sure, coming from the same source that completely under estimates the numbers that have attended Tea Parties in Nashville, couldn’t be bothered to check, and post such a thing.
Perhaps the Tennessean’s political blogger is a shill for the Democrat Party?

Cap and Trade Will Kill the Travel Industry
Proponents of climate change legislation argue that a cap and trade will stop the polar ice caps from melting. This is critical to island nations relying on tourism as the primary source of economic activity. After all, who’s going to visit an island if it’s completely submerged by water? According to some reports, the Maldive Islands “in the Indian Ocean is about three feet above sea level, and scientists fear it could be submerged by 2050.”
This may or may not be an issue depending on what you read, but one thing’s for sure: the solution is not cap and trade. Climatologists project the Waxman-Markey cap and trade would only change global temperatures by five hundredths of a degree Celsius by 2050. Changing the weather to prevent rising sea levels and natural disasters is currently impossible, but adapting to them is not. Countries have shown this by better preparing for hurricanes—building better levees, rebuilding sand dunes and upgrading building codes to withstand damage.

There is no question in my mind that none of the current legislation being proposed has anything to do with reality. It’s all about control of the population, including privately owned businesses. How do you control a population? Remove their ability to protect themselves, then tax them into poverty. I’m seeing a pattern here.

Once Again Obama Misstates Number of Uninsured Americans—This Time in a New York Times Op-Ed
President Obama for a third time has misstated the number of Americans who lack health insurance, this time doing it in an op-ed piece published Saturday by the New York Times.
“I don’t have to explain to the nearly 46 million Americans who don’t have health insurance how important this is,” Obama said in the op-ed about his efforts to reform the American health care industry.
In a July 22 primetime press conference, Obama falsely said there were “47 million Americans who have no health insurance.” At an August 11 town hall meeting in Portsmouth, N.H., he falsely said “nearly 46 million Americans don’t have health insurance coverage today” and that “46 million of our fellow citizens have no coverage.”
In fact, according to the latest available data from the U.S. Census Bureau, there are 35.920 million uninsured U.S. citizens and 9.737 million uninsured foreign nationals residing in the United States. Counting the uninsured foreign nationals, that makes a total of 45.657 million—or “nearly 46 million”– uninsured people in the United States.
Over guestimated by 10 million. I wasn’t aware that foreign nationals had a say in how we run our business here? How many of those remaining 35 million don’t WANT insurance, for a variety of reasons, including the idea they are young, and will live forever, aka “That could NEVER happen to me!” syndrome? How many have lost their jobs, hence their insurance, due to the current administration’s lack of economic common sense? How many are ILLEGALS who have no business being within our borders to begin with, who are swamping the emergency rooms for a cold, or a splinter? How many are eligible for taxpayer funded Medicaid, who aren’t signing up?
