This is How Little Politicians Think of WE, The People
Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (DHIMMI), at a Houston Town Hall meeting:
If you can get past all the conspiracy stuff, these videos point out some seriously truths.
The Morning Bell
Obamacare Pep Rally Fact Check
Any doubts that President Barack Obama’s “townhall” in Portsmouth, New Hampshire yesterday was a complete farce were dispelled early on when the hand picked crowd broke out in a chant of: “Yes we can! Yes we can! Yes we can!” at the close of his opening remarks. Recognizing his campaign’s signature slogan, the President responded: “Thank you. I remember that.” Comforted knowing he was surrounded by a room full of die-hard supporters, President Obama then want on to make a number of misleading and outright false statements about the health care legislation still working it’s way through Congress. Here are just seven:
“I have not said that I was a single-payer supporter.” This is directly contradicted by candidate Barack Obama’s own website which quotes Obama at a rally in Ames, Iowa form 2008: “If I were designing a system from scratch I would probably set up a single-payer system. … So what I believe is we should set up a series of choices….Over time it may be that we end up transitioning to such a system.” So there you have in one paragraph the true purpose of Obama’s public option: a vehicle to slowly transition all Americans out of private coverage and into a government-run single payer health care system. This Trojan Horse view of the public option has been reaffirmed by Reps. Barney Frank (D-MA), Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), Washington Post blogger Ezra Klein, and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman.
KNOCK IT OFF!
SWASTIKA PAINTED OUTSIDE GA. CONGRESSMAN’S OFFICE
The FBI and police were investigating after a swastika was painted outside Rep. David Scott’s district office in Georgia, an act the suburban Atlanta Democrat said reflects an increasingly hateful and racist debate over health care and should remind people to tone down their rhetoric.
I, nor, do I believe anyone else, condones this sort of vandalism. This kind of action does NOTHING to help get the message across about health care. BUT, I have to ask…..why must the opposition ALWAYS inject the “race card”? This isn’t about race. This is about tactics being used to force people into something they don’t want. It’s about strong arming the American people, a good 80% who do NOT want the U.S. Government involved in their health care. For the love of pete, is there one single government run agency that is NOT going broke? That is run efficiently, and effectively? Name one!
Scott, who is black, said he also has received mail in recent days that used N-word references to him, and that characterized President Barack Obama as a Marxist.
The N word. Haven’t we gotten past this? Yes, I realize people are more angry than I thought possible given the apathy we’ve seen in recent years, but to resort to such immature behavior isn’t doing anyone a bit of good. There are much better ways to get a point across than calling people names, and it only adds fuel to THEIR fire. However, in the case of Obama, yes, everything he’s done since taking office points to him being a Marxist.
“We have got to make sure that the symbol of the swastika does not win, that the racial hatred that’s bubbling up does not win this debate,” Scott said in a telephone interview. “There’s so much hatred out there for President (Barack) Obama.”
While true that many people direct their hatred towards the man himself, it’s more than we are disgusted with his policies, and what type of ‘change’ he is attempting to bring about. THIS is what people hate! The destruction of our country, the trashing of the U.S. Constitution, and the fact that Obama and company do not feel the same pride of being an American that a large majority of Americans feel.
At an Aug. 1 community meeting in Douglasville, Ga., Scott angrily yelled at protesters who peppered him with questions and complaints about Democratic health care proposals. He has said he was upset that they interrupted a meeting that was supposed to be about plans for a new highway in the area.
It seems Rep. Scott fails to grasp, as does, obviously, the rest of Congress, just how strongly Americans feel about the government rushing in to take over the entire health care system. Could it be improved? Of course! The first rational step would be to remove ANY, and ALL government intervention.
Back to that swastika…..there is NO reason, what so ever, for anyone to be painting such a symbol of evil anywhere! Vandalism is ugly, period!
Looky….
…..what we got in the mail today!
Heh. Now, if the Mr will let me put one on the back window, opposite my NRA decal…. well, as soon as I get my NRA decal.

Rest In Peace
Viola Sheppard March 31, 1924 – August 11, 2009
May the Good Lord grant you peace dear lady.

Hmmm…..
Got nothing to say. Nope, not a thing. Shocking, isn’t it. I suppose I could rant on about the lies coming out of D.C., but why be so repetitive. If you haven’t been watching the news, then you’re oblivious, and it won’t matter what I say anyway. No sense in giving myself a headache, right?
PETA is still full of loony tunes.
DHS is obviously incapable of backing up their claims of “right wing extremists‘.
I think I’ll watch the idjit box. No news. Just mindless entertainment. Oh, wait a minute. That’s about the same thing these days, isn’t it. Hmmmm….
Well, maybe something will peak my interest later this evening, but I wouldn’t count on it.
Sometimes, “Change” Means Destroy
A “Changed” America Not As Good As The Old America
by J.D. Longstreet
Just a snippet:
Change is not always good. This “changed” America is definitely not as good as the America we had before we decided to exchange freedom for socialism.
Today, Americans are just beginning to awaken and learn the nightmare they are experiencing is not a nightmare one experiences during REM sleep. In fact, they learn, to their utter surprise, they are NOT sleeping. This nightmare is NO DREAM. It is REAL. And, it was brought on by Americans who THOUGHT they wanted, and yes, even NEEDED change.
Many of the votes that were cast last November for “change” were votes from young people who had no idea what they were trading and what they were getting for the trade. They are the product of a public education system in America now almost totally ruled over by the political left, which still seeks the Nirvana of Utopia through Socialism. After 12, or more, years in the public education system, then 2 to 4 more years in those bastions of liberalism/socialism we refer to as colleges and universities, is it any wonder their Pavlovian response in the voting booth was to pull all the levers by the names of the candidates who were decidedly left-wing candidates? Hardly! They were simply reacting to the stimuli implanted in their malleable minds as they made their way through an education system designed to do just that.
And now, some six months after the deed is done, we are just on the cusp of the avalanche of hurt coming our way as our country is about to collapse around us.
I truly miss America. I miss the days when kids stood up in the morning, prayed, said the Pledge of Allegience, and began their day learning how to add, subtract, multiply and divide. They learned the real history, good and bad of our country. They were taught manners, and how God would punish those who didn’t follow common sense rules. I miss those days when we could believe what others told us because their word was their bond, when it was considered dishonorable to lie, and there were consequences for bad behavior.
In today’s world, we find the lowest common denominator, and call it “good”. Contrary to what many would like to believe, this decline didn’t start on 20 January 2009. No, it actually started closer to 50 years ago. At the time, we didn’t see it, because perhaps, we weren’t watching as closely? We knew something was happening, when one woman, started public education down the road to total destruction, and it has snowballed from there.
I realize that many people who voted for “change” didn’t actually realize just what that change would entail. Hopefully, they are now waking up to exactly what is happening, and what is coming. I’m not sure why they missed all the clues. It was right there, in black and white, what their plans were for America. People like me tried very hard to share the words, and actions.
Instead of ‘fixing’ anything, Obama has managed to turn a once thriving nation into a third world country. With his own words, he told the American public what his plans were for the nation, yet no one believed him? Why?
Beyond Absurd!
Need an indication the public education system has gone to hell in a hand basket? Just watch this video, and tell me we don’t need to take our children’s education back from the moonbats!

Shouldn’t Wisdom Come With Age?
With what I’m seeing in D.C. these days, I’m seriously starting to wonder. The average age for the so called representation is somewhere in the 60 to 65 year old range? Somewhere in that vicinity. Evidently, the older you get in that city, the more ignorant you become. No wisdom, just power hungry. Term limits come to mind.
No country for old men, indeed
By Peter Lucas
IN THE SPIRIT of being a good American – a worker, father, grandfather, taxpayer, and a veteran who served in the Army during the Korean War era – I feel it is my duty to help the Obama administration pay for universal healthcare. After all, the president’s opponents claim he would ration healthcare and do away with old people. My country is calling.
But first I must point out that had friends of mine – who fought with the 1st Marine Division at the Chosin Reservoir in Korea, or others who saw action in Khe Sanh in Vietnam – known about Obama’s plan to help them die when they grew old, they might have thrown down their rifles then and there and joined the other side. After all, is there not some truth to the belief that the Koreans and the Vietnamese actually respect their ancients when they are alive, and honor them when they are dead? But maybe in this compassionate-less era, these beliefs are no longer true.
