Well guess what? I’m angry!!
The Mexican family of an illegal immigrant shot after threatening a U.S. Border Patrol agent is suing the federal officer who pulled the trigger as well as the U.S. government.
The incident occurred in 2007 about 150 yards north of the Mexico-Arizona border between Bisbee and Douglas. Border Patrol Agent Nicholas Corbett apprehended a group of Mexican illegal aliens when one of them, Francisco Dominguez, became aggressive and attacked him with rocks. Fearing for his life, the federal officer shot Dominguez and killed him.
After meddling by the Mexican government, Corbett was charged with murder and the prosecution’s key witnesses were the illegal alien relatives—two brothers and a sister-in-law—that made the desert journey with the shot man. A Cochise County jury hung and prosecutors retried Corbett, but charges were dropped after the second jury hung.
This week Dominguez’s family in Mexico filed a wrongful death lawsuit in Tucson federal court claiming the border agent violated the illegal immigrant’s constitutional rights by using unlawful deadly force in the course of his duties as a U.S. government employee. Under the Federal Tort Claims Act, the lawsuit points out, the U.S. government is liable for a negligent or wrongful act of its employees.
The complaint further says that Corbett was very vocal about his “hatred of Mexicans” and that the U.S. Border Patrol should have known about the agent’s history of “ethnic hatred” before allowing him in the field. The agency’s negligent hiring practices essentially led to the illegal immigrant’s death, according to the complaint.
Violence along the border has escalated in the last few years as federal agents encounter heavily armed Mexican drug traffickers and human smugglers that attack them with weapons ranging from firearms to big rocks and Molotov cocktails—makeshift bombs made of a breakable container filled with flammable liquid. Prosecuting the federal officers who confront the danger in the course of guarding the nation’s borders seems rather bizarre.

The U.S. Government Employee violated an ILLEGAL immigrant’s constitutional rights?? WHAT CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS?!?!? When in the HELL will people, the courts included, realize that if you are in the country illegally, you should not HAVE any contitutional rights? Not only that, this POS started getting aggressive toward the patrol agent and the agent, in fear for his life and DOING HIS JOB, fired at him. And then, to add insult to injury, the patrol agent is prosecuted??
We’ve been seeing far too much of this lately. What kind of back-asswards country are we becoming when someone sworn to uphold the law is prosecuted for doing his job by trying to keep these scumbags out of our country? And then the scumbags and/or their families are afforded the same rights as those of a U.S. citizen??
Who in their right mind would want to become a border patrol agent with these scenarios hanging over them? Or is that the plan of the left? Hmmmmm…

Here you will find the absolute truth and not the meandering propaganda addressed by the special interest lobbyists or the deceiving national press. We can burying the head in the proverbial sand, or do something to save your quality of life in our nation. E-Verify from the beginning has been demonized, and only bloggers like me brought its operation to gain national attention? IT WORKS! So without public outcry, the bill would have ended up in a dusty draw of the Senate. Now–these same people are out to crush 287 G, because it also works. Yet right now the usual suspects are requesting the Federal court delay the full implementation of E-verify for government contractors. I’m sure that pro-illegal immigrant lawmakers such as Sen Harry Reid, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Homeland Security chief Napolitano and many more, will try to use their influence on behalf of greedy businesses who demand cheap wage workers to join their slavery forces.
After federal training local police have the authority to check a persons identity and detain them for ICE. President Obama is currently being pressured to rescind the no-match-letter. A immigration tool that notifies employers of discrepancies in a persons identity, for a right to be employed. Sen. Edward Kennedy was a major sponsor of the 1986 (IRCA) immigration act, that strengthened importation, allowing cheap labor into our country, including the fact he promised–NO MORE AMNESTIES.
America has no chance of passing a worthwhile public option for health care, because we will also be paying for illegal aliens along with their families. The bill has no restriction in the wording to authenticate a persons legal status. Personally, I want a single payer system to stop the profiteering by insurance companies, but I don’t want to be taxed for underwriting illegal immigrants and their families? Even if they add an amendment declining illegal immigrants from the health care bill, they will still be included if the Democrats enact another path to citizenship? Then what about the others on the opposite side of our weak fence, they will hear the Amnesty bell chiming and rush for the border, or enter as tourists in an airport. I repeat we cannot even look after our own impoverished and homeless, even many veterans live under bridges. Pandering to foreign nationals legislators have ignored our aging infrastructure, our bridges, roads and tunnels.
Call up the politicians you voted for at 202-224-3121 and tell them NO MORE AMNESTIES!. YES TO A PERMANENT E-VERIFY! BUILD THE ORIGINAL TWO-TIER FENCE! ENFORCE THE 1986 (IRCA) IMMIGRATION LAW THAT’S ON THE BOOKS. DON’T OVERPOPULATE AMERICA!
Thank you OB and Britt. And I think youre catching on, OB. Their plan IS to eliminate all border patrol, so the illegals can just zip right on over here without resistance.
I think if youre a supporter of amnesty and giving rights to illegals and help illegals sue our border agents, YOU should be forced to live in Mexico for about 10 years. Since you want them all to come up here and ruin our country, go live there and find out why theyre fleeing theirs.
I swear, its as if Liberals are doing EVERYTHING a human being can do to drive this country 6 feet under.
Seriously, if you sit down and write a list of things that people could do to ruin a country / economy, youll see its been done here right now by liberals.
