I’m thinking not only ACORN should be investigated, but those Senators who voted no as well.

Even a blind pig finds an acorn once in a while!

This was a great vote and a victory for America and Beck and those two brave souls who entered the lions den at ACORN.  First time visitor, found you via your comments on Texas Fred.

Yes indeed!  It is an excellent start for America, but we’ve still got a lot of work ahead of us.

And welcome!  Fred’s one of the good guys, but don’t tell him I said so.  LOL

McCain is a weasel, boy if I threw my vote away, in the last election….

  8. Shadowblitz70. 15 September 2009, 7:06 am

A few things I noticed about them…. (ones that didnt vote)
2 are from Illinois. No surprise there.
    2 are from Vermont. (Vermont???)
5 outof 7 are from the east coast. (Elitists?)
Among them are Leahy, Durbin, and Burris. They are known for radical left leaning policies and voting records.

Well, Sanders should have an “S” behind his name, since he really is a freakin’ socialist.

  10. olbroad. 15 September 2009, 8:38 am

@Ben  Polite way of putting it.  Heh.  He wasn’t my first choice, that’s for sure.  Come to think of it, he wasn’t my second or third or fourth or fifth, either.  :?   We got screwed with that one.  :?

My 2-bit POS Senator, Kay BAILOUT Hutchison didn’t bother to show up… That one is gonna haunt her here in 2010 too… She needs to prepare for retirement…

Everyone bashes on McCain, like hes the worst we could have. Granted hes bad, but yall are forgetting we HAVE the worst you can have in the white house right now. Id take a weasel over Satan.
I was wondering about the no-voting…. as in: when they get the votes needed, I suppose the last ones to vote just dont bother? If you need (65?) to pass, why would the 84th person bother? But it would have been interesting to see how all the 9 would have voted, any more “nos” in there?
Im actually shocked that Senators can opt out of voting. I think you should have to say YAY or NAY to every bill. That way theres no doubt, and we know where they stand.

  13. olbroad. 15 September 2009, 9:01 am

Yeah, Fred, I was wondering about that.  I’d like to hope she’d have enough sense to have voted ‘no’, if she had bothered to show up.  I don’t understand why they can’t be bothered to be there when they are suppose to.  It’s not like they work 24/7 365.  What is more important that being in the chamber to do their job?

sb, since McCain is supposedly an “R” (and I have serious doubts) and Obumbler is a “D”, that’s like comparing apples and oranges.  :?   McCain would have been no prize in the WH, but he’d be a damn sight better….as long as he had Palin prodding him with a cattle prod.  :D   As it is….  *shakes head*
