Wouldn’t it be nice?  But I’m not gonna hold my breath.  :?

I would like to see people that post these lists (like Hannity’s 10 and Ingraham’s 10 in ’10) add one more that I believe if pushed through by a revitalized Congress would help stem the tide of corruption:
The first action for the new Conservative Congress must be to make all former, current and future members of Congress to live by the exact same laws and regulations they impose upon the American People, when they become citizens after leaving office. And any criminal activity conducted while a member of Congress will also be handled as for a normal citizen. “Whatsoever you sow, so shall you reap!”

What a novel concept!  Following the laws ya make.  Brilliant!  :)   Of course, you know they actually believe they are ABOVE the law, right?  :?

Yes, they think themselves above their laws, but the point is if an honest Conservative Congress was in power, then the threat of retroactive application of laws might actually make them think now about how their future might not be so secure. Even if it takes 12 years change the color of Congress (blue to red, that is), the threat may have an impact today.

There should be no “Golden Parachutes” for members of Congress. Especially in this Obama World of Servitude, Congress men and women  should be happy to serve the People for a time, and then take their places among the People without any special privileges.

That would be really nice, but the problem is, it isn’t really those so elected so called reps that are running the show.

I was happy with her, til she went all liberal socialist on us with one of her points:
“Stop companies from paying CEOs and other executives outrageous salaries…etc.”
This may sound like a good idea, but having more government intrusion in the private sector, having the government dictate what is “fair” for people to be paid, etc. is a liberal democrat (socialist) idea, something that Hitler himself implemented.
If you dont like what the CEO of a corporation is making you have choices. Email him and tell him so. If you work for the company, work hard, get promotions, so you can become someone who can make changes within the company.
Quit and work for someone else, if it bothers you that much.
Whats especially funny here is everyone bitches about how much other people make, until THEY get a promotion, then its hunky-dory to make 6 or 7 figures, theyre all happy with it. >.<

Its nothing more than class warfare, prosperity envy. People dont just wake up and they are successful, making 6 or 7 figures. They work towards it, going to college, working long hours, and Im sure plenty of butt kissing in there as well. So we have no right to tell them people what they can or cant make, or whats fair for THEM to make. Im sure none of you would like it if I came to your job tomorrow and changed your salary to what I thought was fair, to share your money with people lower on the totem pole than you. Think about it.

sb, while I agree that no one should be telling companies what to pay to whom, I understand her as saying when the company is in the tank, and the people who have been paying into their retirement fund for so many years are getting the shaft, CEOs shouldn’t be walking away with millions.
