American Thinker has some interesting correlations on unemployment depending on who is control of Congress. It’s worth a read! Guaranteed to make a dihard liberal’s head explode.
Granted it’s from back in September, but you can fill in the rest of the upswing on the right side.
Red – Republicans
Blue – Democrats
Interesting that unemployment goes down more so with the red, isn’t it.
A snippet:
President Obama inherited a mess of an economy. He inherited it from his fellow Democrats in Congress. As it turns out, which party controls Congress, especially the Senate, probably has a lot more impact on the economy than who resides in the White House.
Seriously, go…..read…..be enlightened.

Sure, I’m biased, but that graph reads favorable to the Dems to me. It’s all about lagged variables; conditions now are dependent on decisions 1, 2, 3 or more years ago. In this case, Dems create an environment conducive to low unemployment, the Reps take over and screw it up. Cause and effect are not concurrent.
Of course the whole thing is much too complicated to be simplified into a 2-color chart, but it just shows how two people can look at something and see entirely different things.
Heh. Ya got that right. Did you read the post?
I did. Not sure what you’re suggesting.
I was curious if you had read it. Suggesting nothing at all.
A Democrat controlled Congress starting in 2006 is of more concern to me than the previous years.
