Sad what they have to endure on the way to war!  I love every one of them for what they do!  I wish they would just get ALL of the respect they deserve!

Well, they sure aren’t getting it from THIS administration.

a picture of a bunch of bored soldiers half asleep in a transport is the “inside of a can o whoopass”?  lol
    Jus sayin…  ;)

I bet if you pried the lid, that whoop ass would come flyin’ out whoopin’ ass!

Looks like some people just don’t appreciate the sacrifice these brave men and women undergo just to give this moron (Shadowlitz70) the right to make these remarks. I applaud all our military who so selflessly put their lives on the line for all of us. God bless them and their families.
Let’s start whoppin’ ass on our current administration. These are some of our real enemies.

Madalyn, you are a sad, judgemental little person.
I am a VERY patriotic person, more than you, I guarantee.
Ob has seen that on many occasions, which is why she chose not to call me names like 10 year old and question my patriotism.
I was simply commenting on the picture they chose to use to describe as “a can o whoopass.”
I think they could have chosen say, a pic of fully geared soldiers with guns at the ready  inside a Bradley ready to pop out and take down some insurgents… as opposed to some half asleep men sitting on their asses in a plane.
So point your ignorant nasty little comments elsewhere.

And I would have titled this pic “the calm before the storm” or something like that.
    More fitting.

Shadowblitz70 – I am going to apologize for referring to you as a moron. I shouldn’t have said that. I look at that picture and I see a group of our military who are absolutely exhausted and tired.  I also look at it like they are relieved to have some time to relax a little bit before facing even more horrendous work.
As for being patriotic, I do not question whether or not you are. I am very patriotic; I have never served in our military. I did work all my adult life for Government contractors. I have worked very closely with our military, and sometimes on military bases. I have also worked on a Navy ship. My husband is retired Navy. My son and daughter both served proudly in the Navy. So, I can only assume you served our country and are patriotic. If you did, I thank you, but don’t assume someone is not patriotic or is not as patriotic as you.
I do not comment on these sites to stir up trouble. I am very opposed to ANYONE who disses our military and I felt that is what you were doing. I am hoping you understand why I was so upset about your comment.
So, I have no hard feelings and I would like to call a truce.
    Madalyn

    Truce!  ;)

I too understand the harships our servicemen go through, and wish our failing government would realize it as well.
Taking like 6 mos or so to send reinforcements to people in the field is not only ignorant, but insulting.

Thanks Shadowblitz70 – I really do apologize for my statement. I just get really upset when I feel someone is not respecting our flag or our military. At sporting events, when the National Anthem is played, I see a lot of men who do not remove their hats. Also, I hear a horrible version of the National Anthem sung by one of these current “singers” and am appalled that the original tune is not there.  Where has the pride for our country gone?
OK enough. Have a good evening

Our national pride went the same place the rest of our morals and values and keeping of traditions: theyre dying off with the older generations.
Parents today dont enforce these anymore.
If I chose not to sing the national anthem, my prents would have smacked me upside the head.
Parents today let these mush brained kids do whatever they want.
