High-Ranking Al Qaeda Leader Reportedly Killed

A high-ranking Al Qaeda figure reportedly was killed Thursday in a U.S. drone aircraft attack in north Pakistan.

The attack, first reported by NBC News, was officially denied by Pakistani officials, though sources told Fox News that neither Usama bin Laden or Ayman al-Zawahiri were among those killed.

Well crap!  However…..

    Good news to be sure. Sadly Al Qaeda seems to be akin to the mythical Hydra, for every head that is chopped off three more sprout up.

    Yep…which is why I’m thinking a rather large mushroom cloud would work a whole lot better than just the “one at a time” type thing.  :twisted:
