An Ol' Broad's Ramblings

A Good Description

I came across an interesting letter to the editor this morning in the The Plain Dealer that all anti Americans, aka LIBS/PROGRESSIVES, should read. You might become a bit better informed.

Depiction of “tea party” attendees as solely Republican is off base

Thanks to Ellen Reeves (Nov. 19) for responding to Gayle Crawford’s rant (Nov. 14) when Crawford stated in her letter to the editor that those attending “tea parties” are “barbaric hordes” of Republicans.

Not true, Ms. Crawford. I have had the pleasure of attending some of the “tea parties” and have made a point of circulating through the crowd to talk with other attendees. They are not all Republicans, and for Crawford to assume they are is a great disservice to herself and the good American citizens who do attend.

The people I have had the pleasure of meeting and talking with are from all walks of life and political persuasions, various ethnicities, blue- and white-collar professions and representative of many age groups. I have talked with America-loving Democrats who are fed up with our government and how our country is being ruined by both political parties. I have not seen hatred in their eyes or heard it in their voices. What I have witnessed is a deep concern for our country and a desire to let those in Washington (and in state and local government) know that we have had enough of their political nonsense.

Remember, we are Americans first — not Republicans or Democrats. There actually seems little difference in either party, and in many cases what one party used to represent has now become the other party’s doctrine. Just think how the politicians can continue to enjoy holding on to their offices by supposedly fighting against the other party while not really representing their constituents. It goes on year after year, election after election, and we see it constantly in letters to the editor and newspaper articles where someone from one party is lambasting the other in hopes of persuading voters to think that his guy or his party is much better than the other.

It is time we all accepted that most politicians from both parties no longer represent any of us, but only themselves.

All Americans should be attending “tea parties.”

Thank you, Linda, for such a polite depiction of Tea Party attendees. If you listen to the left, via Olberman, Matthews, et al, you’d have to believe we are nothing but a bunch of right wing loons, hating on a “black” president, practicing some obscure sexual act, when nothing could be further from the REAL truth.

Exactly the same people I find when I attend these events.  you meet everyone from the Bikers to the Business man and the young and the old and the vetrans and the newly enlisted.   The ONLY thing we all have in common is Love of this Country and disdain for our misrepresentatives!  Look around your neighborhood, you will find the same things, just Americans…

It’s really a shame that the left buys into the lame stream media.  We scare the bejabbers out of them, when they SHOULD be standing arm in arm with us to save this nation.

Typical moron. Anyone who does not agree with him must hate America. Well f**k you very much. three generations of my family served this country and none of us hate America you moron.
It is not only possible but a complete fact that liberals and progreassives love American every bit as much as any gun toting, bible thumping birther, tea bagger, tin foil hat wearing lunatic American Taliban person does.
How about trying to disagree with someone without calling their love of country into question?

Wait a minute junko, aren’t you the one who told me not to call people names, to discuss the issues?  Oh yes, I forgot….libber pukes like you don’t believe anyone is allowed to have a dissenting opinion.  And BTW, if you asswipes truly loved this country, you wouldn’t be fighting so hard to turn it into something totally unrecognizable by any REAL freedom loving patriots!

Oh, and FYI!  I’m finished being polite to garbage like you!
