Napolitano Acknowledges Security Failed in Allowing Terror Suspect on Plane
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano conceded Monday that airline security failed in allowing a Nigerian on a terror watch list and allegedly armed with explosives onto a Detroit-bound flight, a turnaround from her declaration a day day earlier that “the system worked.”
Gee. Y’think? What a veritable genius! Any 4 year old could come to the same conclusion, BEFORE this moron figured it out!
A tidbit from The Foundry’s Morning Bell:
Pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN), the explosive Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab tried to detonate aboard Northwest Airlines flight 253, is among the most powerful of explosives in the world and was widely used to blow up airplanes in the 1970s and 1980s. The only reason the passengers of Flight 253 are still alive today is because Mr. Abdulmutallab’s syringe detonator failed for still unknown reasons.
Yet despite the facts that PETN is easily detected and Mr. Abdulmutallab’s father warned the U.S. embassy in Nigeria about his son this November, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano had the audacity to go on television yesterday and say “the system worked” and that the suspect was properly screened. The “system worked?” The 278 passengers on flight 253 could be dead today but for a faulty syringe and the Obama administration considers that a success? That is pure idiocy. Idiocy that is a direct threat to the security of this country and that goes to the heart of the Obama administration’s approach to the war on terror.
I, for one, am quite grateful the passengers survived the failed attempt to murder them! With all the evidence, that SHOULD have put this piece of garbage on the “no fly list”, someone, as usual, was asleep at the switch. Do they not take these animals seriously? It’s not blond haired, blue eyed Presbyterians blowing themselves, and others, to smithereens! I don’t care how unPC it is, it’s way past time to start profiling. If it pisses a few people off, who gives a flying flip!
If they insist in using their religious beliefs against us,lets turn the tables on them. bacon grease on all bullets at the firing squad,on troops ammo,sky marshalls ammo,etc.. Black Jack Pershing was right.
