Need An Eight Minute Nap?
BTW, climate change is NOT a phenomena! It happens. It’s been happening for eons. It also happens four times a year. They are called seasons.

Thieves steal Auschwitz’s ‘Arbeit macht frei’ entrance sign
A gang of thieves in Poland has stolen the infamous wrought iron sign announcing that “work sets you free” that spans the main gate of the Auschwitz concentration camp.
The long, curving sign, reading “Arbeit macht frei”, was erected by the Nazis soon after the old Auschwitz barracks were converted into a labour and extermination centre in 1940. It was supposed to suggest that hard work would eventually allow inmates to walk free.
But, as Auschwitz was turned into a major hub for the Holocaust, murdering over a million people, the majority of them Jews, the sign became a mocking, cynical commentary.
A symbol of pure evil! One that should never be forgotten! What type of person would think stealing this ugliness was a good idea? I really hope they find these vermin, and the sign is restored. This is a part of history that should NEVER be a footnote. People really do need visuals when it come to the inhumanity of man!
On What Planet?
Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-Ark.) told CNSNews.com that Congress has the authority to force individual Americans to buy health insurance because the U.S. Constitution “charges Congress with the health and well-being of the people.”
The words “health” and “well-being” do not appear anywhere in the Constitution.
Have any of these so called representatives of We, The People, ever even READ the U.S. Constitution? You know, that amazing document they swore to uphold!
At a press conference on Capitol Hill, CNSNews.com asked Sens. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) and Blanche Lincoln the following question: “What part of the Constitution do you think gives Congress the authority to mandate that individuals have to purchase health insurance?”
Lincoln did not answer the question during the press conference but spoke to CNSNews.com in the Dirksen Senate Office Building immediately afterward. CNSNews.com asked her there: ‘You didn’t respond to my constitutionality question during the press conference, and what was your reaction to, your answer to the question?”
“Well, I just think the Constitution charges Congress with the health and well-being of the people,” Lincoln said.
Really? Where does it say this? I know in the Preamble it says “promote the general welfare”, but that doesn’t have diddly to do with health care.
CNSNews.com then asked the Senator: “So, what area though? You’re saying the health and well-being. What area, though, does that fall under?”
“The health and well-being of the people of the country,” she replied.
Just how did we end up with so many ignoramus’ in Congress? Are these people capable of rational thought? No, I didn’t think so.
During the press conference, Landrieu told CNSNews.com she would let “constitutional lawyers on our staff” answer the question of where the Constitution authorizes Congress to mandate that individuals buy health insurance. “Well, we’re very lucky as members of the Senate to have constitutional lawyers on our staff, so I’ll let them answer that,” said Landrieu.
“But what I will say is that most certainly it is within Congress’ jurisdiction to come up with a way to have a health insurance funded with shared responsibility, is the way I like to, you know–government has a responsibility, individuals have a responsibility and business has a responsibility,” said Landrieu.
Un-freakin’-believable!

ObamaCare – does it cover stupidity?
Americans overwhelmingly like their healthcare and their health insurance. While Americans reject ObamaCare, the President and Congress insist on driving it through.
Most Americans, up to 85 percent, already have health insurance and are satisfied with it. Lacking health insurance is different from lacking health care — which, by law, emergency rooms must supply. Millions go without health insurance by choice and not due to lack of resources. Deduct from the number without insurance those who have access to it via entitlement programs, those temporarily without it while between jobs, those here illegally and those who could go on their parents’ insurance plans by paying affordable amounts — and you’re down to 10 million to 15 million people without health insurance for longer than a year. This represents five percent of Americans.

College Instructor Compares Crucifix to Swastika
Eastfield College is accused of suppressing the religious expression of students after a ceramics instructor compared the crucifix to a swastika and refused to allow students to create religious symbols.
“Unfortunately, not everyone has the Christmas spirit or even a basic understanding of religious freedom,” Kelly Shackelford, chief counsel of Liberty Legal Institute, said in a statement. “The government cannot ban crosses and religious symbols.”
The controversy involves retired auto worker Joe Mitchell and Eastfield Community College in Mesquite, TX. Since 2006 he has been enrolled in a non-credit ceramics class comprised mostly of retirees. During the spring class, Mitchell made a number of crosses for friends and fellow parishoners at his church, St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church.
That’s when he ran into trouble. According to court documents obtained by FOX News Radio, a memorandum was sent to students forbidding them from creating any religious items including Christmas or Easter-related items.
“The making of such pieces at Eastfield College demeans the goals of the ceramic program at EFC,” stated a memo written by James Watral, chair of the ceramic program.
No, what this moron has done demeans the faith of millions.
“Ms. Blackhurst then asked Mr. Mitchell if he considered a swastika offensive. He responded, ‘Of course.’ She then proceeded to compare the cross to a swastika. She stated that many individuals view the cross as an offensive symbol in the same way that many people are offended by swastikas, and that his crosses would therefore not be fired by the department.”

“I felt humiliated and that my spirituality was being demeaned,” Mitchell said in a written statement. “The whole point of art is to express who you are.”
“It appears the Eastfield College art department has no room in the inn for artistic religious expression such as that of Michelangelo or Leonardo da Vinci; hopefully they will change their mind,” said Hiram Sasser, director of litigation at Liberty Legal Institute.
Don’t think there is an agenda in schools, especially colleges, big and small? Think again. This is a perfect example. Evidently, this so called instructor is totally clueless. I’m sure Christ will forgive her for being a complete assjack, and He’ll also forgive me for calling her such.

Blizzard Dumps Snow on Copenhagen as Leaders Battle Warming
World leaders flying into Copenhagen today to discuss a solution to global warming will first face freezing weather as a blizzard dumped 10 centimeters (4 inches) of snow on the Danish capital overnight.
“Temperatures will stay low at least the next three days,” Henning Gisseloe, an official at Denmark’s Meteorological Institute, said today by telephone, forecasting more snow in coming days. “There’s a good chance of a white Christmas.”

The New York Times‘ Nicholas Kristof recently wrote a column about John Brodniak of Oregon, who developed a cavernous hemangioma, causing him great pain as blood leaks into his brain.
According to Kristof, Brodniak can’t get medical help because we don’t have universal health care. Senators who vote against ObamaCare, Kristof said, are morally equivalent to someone who would walk past a man “writhing in pain on the sidewalk.”
In another article in the Times, William Yardley wrote about Melvin Tsosies — also of Oregon — who ended up with $200,000 in medical bills after having a heart attack.

TEA Party Patriots React to Prison Progress
“All it takes is for one person to strap on a bomb, walk into a school… and blow themselves up,” said one outraged member of the Rockford TEA Party Patriots.
The group is in an uproar about the latest step in moving Guantanamo Bay detainees to Thomson, Ill. They held an emergency meeting tonight to discuss the issue and make plans for a protest against the transfer of alleged terrorists.
“This is being completed unconstitutionally. We just don’t have a say, here the people of Illinois, as to whether or not we want these detainees here. And where’s this money coming from?” commented Jerry Sandin.
The sale of the prison is not a done deal. In order for the process to move forward federal laws will have to be changed, funding must be approved and support needs to be gained in congress.
The TEA Party plans to use a December 22nd public hearing to voice their concerns and talk about all of these issues.
Evidently, the Chicago machine has a tendency to forget that Illinois is a bit bigger than just Chicago. There are other people who live in the state that are none too happy with their actions. Of course, Obama and his crew took that same mindset with them to Washington, D.C. Rational Americans do not want these pigs to set foot on our soil! It’s not that difficult to understand, but when it comes to the left of the left, rational never enters into the picture.

Live at Copenhagen: Great news – Copenhagen is a disaster
“Collapsing in chaos” is a phrase the media is using to describe the Copenhagen climate conference, and that certainly is the feeling among many here at the Bella Center. Little has gone right, and indeed many registered participants were never even let in. The Danish minister in charge has resigned. Now, those of us who managed to make it in may get turned away for the crucial last two days Thursday and Friday. There are even rumors that President Obama may stay away.

An Israeli doctor said to a medical conference, “Medicine in my country is so advanced, we can take a kidney out of one person, put it into another and have him looking for work in six weeks!”

The Russian doctor got up and said “My country is even more advanced, we can remove half a heart from one person, put it into another and have them both looking for work in just two weeks.
Not to be outdone, the American doctor stood up and addressed the conference, “Well” he said “My country is so far advanced in medicine, we can take an asshole out of Chicago, put him in the White House, and have half the country looking for work in just 24 hours!”
